I was a bit baffled by some of the poor reviews of this place on Google. For the price, you cannot beat the space, facilities and comfort this flat offers. The checkin information was clear and efficient. The bed was incredibly comfy and so useful to have a washing machine. Yes, the pub across the road was pretty noisy on Friday night so maybe avoid if you’re very noise sensitive, but otherwise, I’d definitely recommend. Try staying at a UK hotel for twice the price, a quarter of the space and no window, then you’ll see what a bad hotel is like!

Place was smelly, couldn’t tell if it was from lack of airflow or the fact the aircon hadn’t had any attention since it was installed. Floors were dirty couldn’t walk barefoot. The bed was super uncomfortable and in need of a replacement mattress asap. So noisy i felt i was sleeping on the sidewalk downstairs even though i was on the second floor. The only positive was probably the location of the room as i was walking distance to everything. Do better guys take pride in the service you provide.

Clean unit with all you require. Car parking safe stacka system, easy to use.

Noisy area outside but close to restaurants, cafes and a couple of hotels. Also 50m to train station.
Voices do carry through the building.
Some interesting characters hang out in the area (not the building).
Overall, very good but light sleepers may find it challenging.

Communication with host worked well and they were very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was well-equipped, clean and comfortable. We would hear street and train noise but it was not intrusive. The washer/dryer was very useful.

I stayed here for over a month pending a border pass to return home to Queensland. The apartment was clean, spacious, had good natural light, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and laundry with washer/dryer. The staff were so lovely and flexible with my situation, and always checking in to make sure I was comfortable, offer fresh bedding and towels etc. I was in an apartment off the street and found it generally quiet - although there is a pub across the road that can get noisy, as it is a busy area, but nothing a pair of headphones or earplugs won't solve. Close to shops and public transport, very easy to get around from here. Highly recommend. Thank you for being so accommodating during my stay!

Some harsh reviews of this place, seems unfair to me. This is an unstaffed hotel but It's a great place if you don't have a car and need to be close to a train station, and the rooms are huge! If you're driving, just use the street parking as the building has a very small car park and street parking is not full.

I wouldn't recommend staying here on a Friday or Saturday night because it's close to the pubs and it also has a noisy common area. If they replaced the common area with carpet not tiles it would make a huge difference!

If it were not for the very comfortable bed and crisp clean sheets, this rating would have been worse. The booking itself was effortless, remote check-in was a little clunky over the phone, but Ashley was very efficient and did her best to explain all the requirements abs offer good service. No car parking unless you have a sedan meant my car was on the street in a fairly tough area, praying for no damage in the morning. This apartment was noisy, so noisy, the doors opening and closing over and over from the ground floor restaurant I think (despite us being 2 floors up) plus some type of door alarm going off every time someone props a door open (at least ten times now), the apartment looks over Hamilton train station which is fine until you have the train horns going off with every train that passes by, and is also opposite the pub, there has been shouting, fighting, screaming and huge groups of people hanging around under our window for three hours now, not to mention the drivers speeding up and down the road we overlook, then breaking for the train station crossing. From a security perspective, there is no internal manual lock to the room, and the garage door has been left open by the restaurant tenant meaning anyone wander in through the garage, and can access the building and each levels apartments. I’m trying to be positive, but this is a tough location, I would not stay here again.
