Never been to Halls Gap. Amazing place. Terrific country.
We paid for the privilege of feeding a Rhino and a giraffe.
Unbelievable experience.
The zoo itself was terrific. Plenty for all to see. Deer to feed. Don't be put off by them. Embrace them and let them feed from your hand. They don't bite.
You can purchase feed bags for $3 to feed the animals as you go.
Take your time and enjoy the many animals. Great day out.
There was a good van on site, not sure of pricing, but also plenty of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Wheelchair access all over as far as I could see.
We bought tickets online prior to going.

We came in for the private morning tour and were not disappointed! Glen was super knowledgeable and provided a great insight into all the animals. The tour is very interactive and included feeding/interacting with many of the animals. Came back for the giraffe experience which again was incredible and really appreciated the quality photos the zookeper took of us which we received within just 30minutes at no extra cost. Would highly recommend it and definitely worth the trip

An absolutely amazing experience. We decided to go all in, and bought the experiences. Decided to meet animals we wouldn't usually meet at other zoos. The red panda was a highlight. Plus the cheetahs and rhinoceros. There was also a lovely interaction with the bird keeper who told us about Hummer the eagle's girlfriend and then the gf appeared! The staff were so knowledgeable and friendly!!

We called in here today and were very pleasantly surprised. A huge place with an abundance of animals. We particularly liked the cheeky deer who followed us around for food, and the lovely wombats sleeping in the sunshine.
