Just spent 4 amazing nights at this property. Best location in town. Best spa bath and views with kangaroos, cockatoos and kookaburras to watch. Well appointed house with all the amenities you need for a fun and relaxing stay. Can hike to the Pinnacles from the property and come back for a relaxing spa. We will be back again.

Beautiful home, so well appointed with quality fittings and furnishings. Fabulous location looking out to wetlands and mountains with a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. Cathy is a welcoming and generous host. We loved our stay in Halls Gap and look forward to returning to Hemley House soon. The spa on the deck and the fire pit surrounded by seats were great extras, as were the complimentary wine and coffee. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We were gifted a long weekend stay at this beautiful Home. Cathy was a fantastic host. Everything was presented beautifully and very tasteful. A complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The kitchen has everything you need if you wish to cater for yourself.The views are exceptional. The deck spa is a wonderful addition. Even in winter it was beautiful and peaceful sitting out in the warm spa. Beds are extra comfy. Home is pristine & in a great location in the heart of Halls Gap. Hemley House is very warm and inviting. We highly recommend Hemley House for a weekend, a few days or a week. You won’t be disappointed!

We loved our stay at Hemley House and Cathy is a great host. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and it’s in the perfect location, walking distance to everything.

The hot tub and gas log fire were highlights, plus we had deer and kangaroos right beside the house everyday.

Everything has been really well thought through, with great attention to detail. Can’t wait to stay again!

This was a beautiful stay. It allowed a comfortable space for gathering as well as privacy. The house was very well kitted-out; our only suggestion is the addition of a simple teapot with strainer. We were on a cycling and walking trip - there were great tracks around - and we enjoyed having the laundry and the spa after big treks and long rides. We also had regular visits from wildlife - birds, kangaroo, deer... Our host was helpful and she was kind amidst COVID regulations. We would recommend this stay and would consider it again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 2 days here & wished the stay was longer. Hemley House is a lovely home in very tranquil surroundings. Well appointed modern home with high quality furnishings, linen & towels. Well stocked kitchen & cooking facilities. The most generous variety of pillow options I've ever seen. Cathy is a very nice lady & she even left a complimentary bottle of wine. Kangaroos, deers & many different birds could been seen from the rear deck. My only reason for not giving full 5 stars is that I found the king bed to be too firm for my personal preference. I would recommend Hemley House as a very nice place to stay. I hope to return again someday.

Our group of 5 had a ball staying at Hemley House. We relaxed in the outdoor spa, had an evening around the fire pit and enjoyed the stunning Halls Gap views from the deck & indoor dining area. The local wild life, wallabies, deer, ducks & kookaburras all came to visit during our stay. And the shops were just a short stroll through the back paddocks!
The house itself is beautiful and we were kept toasty in the cool mornings by the beautiful indoor gas fireplace. The bathrooms are gorgeous and the bed linen is luxurious. Hemley House is an all round lifestyle destination stay in Halls Gap!

Enjoyed a relaxing stay over 4 days. Nice views, lots of kangaroos. A few birds trying to get food but please DON'T feed them. Good communication and quiet location.
