Wow. Such a big museum. Plenty to see with some very early equipment, tractors cars guns telephones uniforms military agriculture. Very friendly staff. $10 adult, $7 pensioners. Worth every cent. Great coke a cola display. So very nicely restored tractors and cars.

Always look forward to these country museums. We were disappointed by the displays; lack of lighting, overwhelmed by the quantity in some of the displays, and a lack of cohesive labelling and description of a lot of the items.
It was a pity because there were some great items, but just no explanations for people who didn't live life in a country setting.

Incredibly diverse collection of multiple historic genres including farm equipment, old Sydney GPO building generator, vintage cars, Coca Cola bottle and Arnotts biscuit tins. Fascinating. Children enjoyed it, as did I.

Picked a beautiful sunny autumn day to visit the Gunnedah Rural Museum. Have driven past it so many times and finally decided to stop in and have a nosey. It’s one of the best agricultural museums I’ve ever seen. So much to see - almost need a half day to take it all in. Lots of old school cars, trucks, farm equipment, steam engines and other memorabilia. Friendly, helpful staff too.

Amazing collection of various historical items, particularly machinery and farming equipment. Also maintained by a welcoming and helpful cohort of gentlemen who were extremely polite and generous with their local knowledge. Definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic with loads of old wares, allow plenty of time for your visit
