always look forward to picking up some bakery goodies and patisseries from Gumnut in Bowral for the road.

there’s usually a queue outside but it moves efficiently and once inside we received calm and full attention. even with a queue, there is seating outdoors available as many (like us) are grab and go.

they are known for their macadamia and pecan tart, but the lemon curd and passionfruit curd tarts are also wonderful, they have silky mouthfeel and aren’t overtly sweet. I don’t have a sweet tooth but would be happy to finish a tart or two on my own from here! they are just the right size too for a treat.

the meat pies have a lovely flaky pastry, homely and are proper chunky inside. I enjoyed the creamy pepper beef, and we also ordered their popular lamb & rosemary.

thanks for opening over the Easter weekend! we appreciated the additional themed decorations and options for patisserie, and of course those brioche hot cross buns!

Delicious patisserie, not too sweet, well presented. The tart base was a bit undercooked to our taste but the mille-feuille and eclairs were delicate and excellent.
Friendly service and helpful staff.

Stopped in at Gumnut Patisserie in Bowral and really enjoyed it. The almond croissants were delicious – buttery, flaky and full of flavour – and the coffee was excellent too. A lovely little treat in the heart of Bowral!. ☕️🥐

Always stopped by whenever we are traveling through or to bowral for their pies and pastries. It's so popular with long crowds over the weekend and it isn't hard to understand why. There are so many varieties of choices with generous prices for desserts. I'll always give them the best credit for a pastry take way. Recommended 💯 if you want a coffee with a delicious bite.

Breaking Keto intentionally is very very oh so very hard for me….. except when I walked into Gumnut Patisserie on a rainy day! The aroma of freshly baked goods - pies and cakes - ooopphhh! I caved and for good reason. I’ll be back - promise - fresh and crispy and yummy palmier and the almond croissant 🥐

Couldn’t wait long enough to take the pics. 🥸

Took the family up to Bowral today and had lunch at Gumnut patisserie.
The place is well presented with easy access and covered seating outside.
The cakes and desserts look incredible and such a wide variety to choose from.
Also a good selection of pies which were very nice.
The coffee was hot and actually tasted like fresh ground coffee and not warm milk.
The staff were super friendly and happy to answer questions about what was what.
The place was super busy.
Would definitely eat there again.

It’s a must to have and worth the trip to visit Bowral.
Pie was award winning and pastry it self is good.
However in my personal opinion my last visit was better.
Been here around 5-6 times but I haven’t got chances to review in this platform..
Lamb and rosemary is local favorite.

The gameiness of lamb can be quite robust, but pairing it with rosemary can help balance out the flavor herbaceous notes from rosemary complement the rich, savory flavor of lamb.
Chicken and leek, was ok nothing to rave about.
Beef bacon and cheese was good too, I found the pastry base was soggy.
Sausage roll is my favorite, pastry was flaky crunchy, and filling was generous

My all time favourite patisserie in all of Australia. Never disappoints! They made my daughters wedding cake. There was nothing left after the reception. That’s 20kg of cake consumed after an extremely well catered for reception. The cake was phenomenal! Just love this business so much!
