Julian and GSE are absolutely amazing. We sold our business with them last year... from day 1 they were professional, realistic and transparent. We interviewed several brokers, and couldn't pass up their superior industry knowledge and apparent authenticity and genuine care. As it turned out, the authenticity and genuine care were real and not just a 'front'. They held our hand every step of the way, took great care with the sale, worked hard to ensure that we got the best possible price and still presented value to a buyer. They had many potential buyers, a number of viewings and really worked to make sure the sale happened to the right buyer for our business. I can't fault them at all. During our research process, I saw often on broker reviews that people complain about a lack of transparency of fees etc - Julian and GSE spelled this out in absolute detail from the beginning. It's written into every document and contract. We talked through a number of potential outcomes and they ensured they knew what we would be happy with. They are basically good human beings who are working hard to make both buyers and sellers happy with a transaction, and we were very satisfied. Additionally, they helped a business-owner friend of mine out with a very tricky landlord situation, pro bono! Julian Mero from the Brisbane office sold our business. He had 1 buyer through in the 12 months it was on the market. It cost us over 20k for them to sell our business. It cost over 2k for them to value our business and we were told we would get that back when then business sold. We did not get this fee back.
