I stayed at Greenhills Canberra on the night of 7/12/2023, and I have to say that the entire of the Cotter Centre (the part I stayed in on my school trip) was absolutely filthy. You had flies and cockroaches in nearly every room, each time I went down the stairs at night, I would constantly get swarmed by flies. There was no mobile reception, so if we wanted to call home for anything, we were completely screwed. THEN, there's the fact that the mattresses we slept on were literal gym mats that you'd find in a PE classroom. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy

Had a lovely time at green hills camp site. Wonderful caring staff and great facilities and plenty of things for the kids to do. Plenty of space and also nice to see some refurbishments underway. Thanks for a wonderful time!

My daugther is a type 1 diabetic and Coeliac ,she went on school camp there was no service to support medical device. The gluten free food was undercooked.mould in showers. The staff were rude. You don’t treat primary school kids like you did.
Health and safety should be going out there as it’s disgusting

Absolutely horrid. I went there for a school camp and was disgusted! There was limited food options and majority of it tasted off by at least a month. My friends cabin had a hole in the roof! The staff were told of this but did nothing. There were plenty of spare rooms (we are a small school) but they were forced to stay in that room even when it rained! The heater didn't work, the toilet didn't flush, there was no hot water, there were spiders everywhere and the rooms had a foul smell. Worst of all, a majority of our grade developed gastro throughout the week! As in vomiting and diarrhea! At the end of our stay, the staff told us to "Just put the blankets back in the cupboard". This would mean the blankets are not washed between stays which is extremely unhygienic. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
