The arrangements were of a very good and high standard.The itinerary was planned so as to make our drive comfortable and enjoyable. The hotels too were very good and centrally located. Subir needs a special word of mention for immaculate coordination.

If I could give this company less than one star I would. I bought and booked a Groupon package deal to Thailand with someone called Kevin in February of 2020 just before covid hit. When I realised I would not be able to travel due to covid I wanted to cancel but Great Pacific Travels sent out a generic email stating they would hold all holidays booked with them for two years. (if something sounds too good to be true it probably is)
In 2021 I lost my job (single income household), had to sell my house as I could no longer afford repayments and had to move to another state to be closer to family. As you can imagine a very stressful time.
I contacted Great Pacific Travels before the two years was up and spoke to someone called Andrew who assured me someone would contact me to arrange a booking.
He said, "someone from reservations would contact me in the next couple of days to make my booking".
After countless phone calls and email follow ups no one has contacted me to make a booking to date.
I am currently in the process of contacting the ACCC, will also look into securing a lawyer to lodge a claim with small claims court in NSW (as I am getting nowhere with Great Pacific Travels) and will also stop into a police station to speak with a detective as I believe this constitutes fraud because they have taken my money (and others after reading reviews!) but not provided me with the service.
Please save yourself the stress and anxiety of potentially losing your money and time and go with another travel company.

My suggestion is not to use this company. Deals look great but you’ll need to do a lot of chasing up with organisation before and after your travel dates. We’re still owed money from our trip in July. The airline has returned our money to GPT and they haven’t forwarded it back to us. In fact, GPT won’t even return emails to sort this matter out. They’ve kept our money and won’t enter into discussion with either couple of our group who travelled. Shame on you Great Pacific Travels.

Absolutely disgusting service!! Purchased a voucher for $590 mystery hotel valued at $850, that included a hot tub, theatre and 24 hour casino, when I was told that that specific hotel wasn’t available they started suggesting places that were $200 a night, not even close to what I paid for let alone the value of the deal I supposed to be getting ($850) with a 5 star hotel. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told he was busy, when I finally did get through to a supervisor he had no idea what he was doing and transferred me back to the original lady, this whole organisation is very unprofessional and seems like a scam, you’ll think you’re getting a good deal but they’ll actually put you somewhere less that what you’ve paid for and pocket the extra. Do not waste your time and money!!

It's always a concern to see such varied reviews - each case has it's own merits. In our case we had to pay extra as our dates were in the high shoulder period and we wanted specific flights. Communication was excellent, our transfers to and from the airport on time - the only negative issues were to do with the Hotel itself (and they were minor) - All in all, it was a great price for a packaged holiday to Bali.

It was the first time we have used Great Pacific Travels Australia. Andrew has provided us with excellent customer service. He always made himself available by answering our emails and calls. We are actually on holiday in Thailand and having a very nice time in the nice room and resort. Thanks to you Andrew.

Horrible experience!

I booked a bucks party with 15 of my mates pre COVID. Great Pacific Travels Pty Ltd have been hard to communicate with and they have not been able to give me any straight answers. I have emailed over 30 times and called countless times more.

We all want a refund as we have collectively put in $20,000 in for this holiday. Frankly, we need this refund. We cannot afford to be away from this money at this time. Plus things have changed over three years with many of us having young families now.

I will be trying to get a refund or solution one more time from Great Pacific Travels Pty Ltd before we take it further to the to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

We had a great experience with Andrew when he assisted us in our travel plans. He arranged an extended stay in our two locations and our flights. Everything went like a charm. Thank you Andrew for all that you did. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip from 27 March to 8 April 2024. Will be recommending you to others wishing to travel.
