This has been the last box needed to be ticked for my brother visiting Australia, and I’m so glad I was able to introduce him to Joel being one of the greatest pilots along the Great Ocean Road.
My brother has been blown away by the scenery, an incredible experience seeing the coastline from a completely different perspective. A must when you are visiting the Surfcoast!
It has been a pleasure for him flying with Joel and for sure we will do it again

My cousin and I had an unforgettable flight with Joel! It was exhilarating—like a rollercoaster at times, with fun ‘tummy drops’ during fast turns. We also had plenty of moments to relax and soak in the spectacular views of the surf coast. Joel is incredibly friendly, and his expertise in paragliding really showed. I felt completely safe and learnt a lot about the wind. Highly recommend!

Went out for a tandem with the legend that is Joel a few weeks ago, and had an absolute cracking time. Joel was super laid back but extremely professional at the same time, and felt safe the whole time we were flying. Would definitely recommend!

My tandem flight with Joel was magnificent
, breathtaking and exhilarating the least to say!!!! What a great experience!!! Even gathering at the launch, getting to know people in such a friendly environment makes the flight more precious ! Joel is such an awesome pilot that I have had 3 tandems with him so far and have referred him to friends and family too. I will definitely have more tandems in the future down there as the Great Ocean Road scenery is absolutely spectacular from the air!

What an amazing experience. I had the pleasure of flying with Joel and felt comfortable and safe the whole time.

Joel is an experienced pilot who effortlessly explains the overall flight process and makes you feel at ease from the moment you meet him.

He also ensured I had an amazing flight. I am not sure if he has connections above, however, we could not have picked a better day. The weather was perfect.

Having grown up near the Great Ocean Road and spent many hours admiring this beautiful coastline, it was brilliant to see it first hand from a birds eye view.

I would highly recommend this experience and, if you can, fly with Joel. He is a local and knows the area like the back of his hand.

This was fantastic!
Joel is knowledgeable, approachable and easygoing. There was excellent communication when we were delayed due to bad weather. This isn't a company selling paragliding experiences, it's a paraglider sharing his passion. My partner and I had a great experience and would recommend this to anyone looking to fly.
Not nearly as scary as you'd think it might be either by the way.

What an amazing adventure

A few days ago, my husband and I took our son paragliding for his birthday. I did my research and chose to go with Great Ocean Road Paragliding and I’m so glad I did. Joel couldn’t have been nicer. I told him my son wanted a bit of adrenaline and he was only too happy to oblige.

We had a couple of day changes due to the weather (not much you can do about that) but Joel kept in constant contact with me to let me know which days were looking the best, then finally it was time. It was a lovely sunny day, perfect for paragliding.

I wasn’t able to go up due to health conditions. Joel explained what they’d be doing and where they would go. He reassured me and I appreciated that. My son went first, then my husband. We had paid for the deluxe media package which included a short, edited video of each of their flights. Our son also took his camera up with him and took some great photos as well.

I was filming and taking photos from the beach but when Joel sent me the videos and photos, I was blown away. The view was incredible and the videos he made were high quality and he sent them to us very quickly. The boys really enjoyed their flights but it was more than that. My husband had nothing but praise for Joel and the easy conversation that flowed as they were flying. Our son said it was amazing and he’d definitely do it again.

A little bit more about Joel, because the flight is only half of it. He is lovely, he answered every question I had, even sent me written directions as well as a map where he’d dropped a pin and where to find that particular beach. He did this after I freely admitted to being directionally challenged.
He seemed just as enthusiastic as us about the flights, his positive attitude was not only infectious, it made us all feel very comfortable. Joel was friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. If we are ever down that way again, we’ll be going paragliding with Joel.
