The apartment we stayed in has been recently renovated and it was amazing. It had everything we needed. I particularly enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor lounge of an afternoon reading my book and watching the amazing colours in the sky as the sun set. Pools were great. We enjoyed the roof top pool in block 1 as it had amazing views. The pool with the spa was also great. The kiddies loved pool hoping as there were 4 to choose from although one was closed during our stay. |Bed was SUPER comfortable.|Staff were great. Rochelle ( I think that was her name) was very friendly and helpful with information when needed at reception. |The location was great as it was a short walk to the IGA , restaurants, bottle shop and bus stop.|We enjoyed our stay so much we ended up staying an extra night!

We arrived on the island and was pretty much on the door step on the apartment. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much of an effort. We loved our stay and the location was a perfect launching pad to explore this wonderful destination. We also enjoyed catching up with the friendly rock wallabies living on the water front.

We had a fantastic week at the Grand Mecure, great apartment with all the facilities you need, kitchen and laundry supplies. Fabulous view from our balcony overlooking the Marina, really quiet but central location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and the bus and ferry terminal.|The staff were lovely and friendly nothing was too much trouble.|Pools were fantastic with wonderful views of the ocean.|Certainly recommend this property. It was perfect for us.

The view was spectacular in our 3 bedroom Ocean Front Apartment. Windows spotless and the main bedroom to die for. Super comfortable beds were a bonus. Richelle the Manager was exceptional, friendly, efficient and where practicable, super accomodating. So refreshing to have such welcoming staff invested to ensure our stay was memorable. The perfect place for our family reunion. Highly recommend.

I went to the Mercure Hotel with my boyfriend, and it was the perfect place for a romantic holiday. Our room had an amazing ocean view, and the swimming pools were really nice.
The staff were very friendly, and the housekeeping team Claire and Suny did a great job keeping the rooms clean!

I stayed here for 2 nights with my kids. From the moment I phoned to book Richelle couldn’t do enough to make us feel taken care of, noting down we were arriving early and promising to try to get the room ready before our arrival. I know this isn’t always possible but were so happy when we arrived the room was available. Poli at check in was so helpful. The view from our room was just gorgeous. We loved swimming in the infinity pool overlooking the ocean, you can feel stress melting off you. The hotel is also handy to everything at Nelly Bay and a great base to explore - Richelle helped us with tips on activities and getting around. Between the location and the service it was much more of a local experience than I expected, and we had a simply fabulous time

The whole stay wad amazong from the time we checked in until we left. Nothing was too much trouble for the manager. Richelle. She made sure we felt welcome and comfortable, including an upgrade to avoid possible noise from pool renovations.
