We searched for a venue all over Australia. We really wanted to have it at home, on the Sunny Coast. Goodwater Ridge was a natural choice for us. It's owners are absolutely lovely - and walked as around the newly-opened establishment. It has a unique Spanish-theme, owing to their years living in Spain. The chapel was perfect, with wooden pews and a bell. The indoor space houses up to 90 with a bar, fireplace and atrium with glass ceiling. The outdoor 'ruins' are stunning, strung with huge glass fairy lights set against the backdrop of the Maleny hills. I'm so glad you opened in time for our wedding. I'll treasure the day (and experience) forever.

As a celebrant on the Sunshine Coast, I can confidently say this is one of the most incredible venues in the hinterland! It’s completely unique—there’s truly nothing else like it on the coast. The venue itself is stunning and a joy to work at. Tom and Ngaire, the owners, are an absolute pleasure to work with. They genuinely love seeing couples bring their visions to life in the beautiful space they’ve created. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for something special for their big day!

We held our daughter's wedding at Goodwater Ridge this past weekend and could not be more impressed. It is an absolutely stunning venue that fit the theme of the wedding to perfection.

Our daughter and her fiance wanted a European vibe (as they spend most of their time in Greece), and GWR fit this aesthetic brilliantly.

They also wanted to get married in a chapel and the onsite chapel was fabulous, with perfect acoustics for the live music that was played during the ceremony.

The grounds are breathtaking, and although the weather did not allow for us to have sunset drinks on the Ruins as planned, the Atrium was a fabulous back up and we still enjoyed the gardens and sunset regardless.

I really don't have enough superlatives to describe this venue. It is absolutely unique, stylish, upscale without being pretentious, and everyone felt immediately relaxed and at home.

If you are considering a wedding or other function in the Hinterland, do yourself a favour and check it out. It is an absolute gem.

I highly recommend Goodwater Ridge to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-managed venue in the Sunshine Coast. As wedding singers, we had the pleasure of performing there now, and absolutely loved it. There are so many different indoor and outdoor spaces that can be used for your event so you're in good hands no matter what the weather does. The chapel, grounds, gardens, and views are simply stunning and the planning team is top-notch.

What a stunning experience this was! From the moment I set foot onto the grounds, I was taken away. Being up in the Hinterland, but also in a small European village was a very special feeling. As a wedding vendor, I hope to marry many couples at Goodwater Ridge in the future, full of charm and convenience, this property is a no brainer for couples wanting to celebrate with their nearest and dearest for more than one day with its accomodation options. I don't know many venues that offer this for your entire bridal party and family, it really is unique. The chapel is a stand out too, the ceremony I held in there was phenomenal, with excellent acoustics, the band and I didn't even really need a microphone! Make sure this venue is on your site inspection list (it is the first venue going up the range) if you are wedding planning, it will not disappoint!

Such a beautiful property and views!! A real Tuscany vibe, plenty of room and sooo many photo opp locations!! The chapel has amazing acoustics and perfect for ceremonies and special, intimate events. I highly recommend this amazing venue:))
