Fantastic 2days with these guys
Their knowledge and guidance top notch in my opinion
I really learned more about using/ settings on my detector , and understanding more about where to search for gold, I found 3 pieces was very happy!

We all know I wasn’t there for panning but I joined in and found gold. Detecting I dug a hole to China for nothing haha after lunch I just wondered around found some tin and then Dave ( I think his name is the shorter one ) popped up out of no where. He absolutely made my experience don’t get me wrong both guys were good but he was top notch. Not only did I find a little piece of gold but his knowledge of the area was top notch I learnt so much from him like how it was all worked back in the old days he gave me a full picture to the point I took my husband there Monday so I could explain it to him and even he said after telling him what I was told you can actually just picture it. I am about that I would go again just to find out more history from him. I’m also fully confident with a detector so I’ll be back in to hire another one very soon 🙂 I also went with an awesome bunch of people

Thanks so much to Dave and April for a simply wonderful days tour gold fossicking from Creswick.
We stayed at RACV Goldfields, Creswick and were picked up from there making it easy. Four kids between6-11 and one elderly grandma.., I was not sure how it would go. Kids were engaged the whole day. Dave and April were endlessly patient in explaining panning and metal detector techniques, Dave was so knowledgeable about the area , soil types and topographical features to maximise our chances. All kids found gold both panning and detecting and quickly picked up the techniques. All equipment and food for the day provided. A really memorable day and a repeat is already being requested…they want to bring their parents so they can learn and make it a family activity.

Just got back from my WA tour with Lucky Strike Gold and Relics Gold Prospecting.
Darren and his team are first class operators who went above and beyond for a newby like myself.
Didn’t find any gold the first day but found gold every other day with coaching from Darren/Geoff/Dave.
What I learned in 10 days on the tour would take me years to learn.
Highly recommend Lucky Strike who do not detect themselves on the tour.
They are all about their clients and making sure that everyone is included on the tour and the evening meetings and information sessions are terrific.
Met a great group of people all with the same interest.
Thanks also to Tim/Kevin/Collin who welcomed me into their camp as I was traveling on my own.
Gday to Geoff and Julie as well, will catch up for a coffee when you get back.
Great experience and would recommend to anyone interested.

Went on the half day tour and had such a fabulous time. Darren was so knowledgeable about the land, prospecting and the history of the region, and so generous with his hints and tips to increase our chances. 100% would recommend, and will be doing the full day tour next time because the day went so quickly!!
