I have just returned from Global’s Western Dessert extravaganza and what a fabulous experience it was. It was my first trip with Andrew, I had read the reviews and had very high expectations that would take something special to meet. The trip was an amazing experience visiting some of the most remote parts of Australia making it both challenging and educational - easily exceeding my expectations! The way he incorporated Australian history into the trip added to the experience. The fully catered tour bought the group together and made the overall experience more enjoyable and made us feel like part of the Global community. I thoroughly recommend Global for your next tag along tour, I’m already planning my next!

Canning Stock Route 2023
A brilliant trip led by Andrew Morse through the red centre of WA travelling north to south that was full of new growth (thanks to recent rains), a plentitude of desert oak forests, cheerful campfires and great meals.
Andrew welcomed everybody and made the crew comfortable and confident in his ability to support the team.
We will travel with Andrew again and can highly recommend his tours.

Another great Global experience. Andrew broke new ground with his first Tasmanian tour - and was more than ably assisted by the man who wrote the book, Chris Boden ("4WD Tracks in Tasmania"). Chris' unparalleled knowledge of the tracks and terrain, and Andrew's great approach to group management and catering, left us with many fond memories. Admittedly the distances in Tassie aren't great, but we covered an enormous amount of ground in 12 days, including some gnarly tracks with breathtaking scenery. The weather could have been kinder, but our spirits were undampened. You always felt confident in the team's approach to unforeseen issues, and appreciated the flexibility in dealing with unexpected (and weather) issues.

June 2023 saw us spend 14 days travelling the Canning Stock Route with Global 4WD tours and what a great trip it was. Andrew Morse's extensive knowledge of the country plus his competent and reassuring leadership, combined with the comradery of a terrific diverse group of likeminded travellers, made for us a really memorable adventure. Travelling in the Tag-along format provides the opportunity for us to experience remote and beautiful places that would otherwise be inaccessible. The great bonus of travelling with Global 4WD Tours is that they are fully catered and our understanding is that Andrew is the only operator that offers this with the experience. This is a great point of difference and it really brings the group together when we all gather for meals. This was our third adventure with Andrew and we are looking forward to travelling with him again.

Well we were recently privileged to undertake our second trip with Andrew, this time through the Simpson Desert. Let me just start by saying we cannot wait for our next! Andrews trips are not for the faint hearted, he will challenge you and your vehicle to undertake adventures you may not have thought you (and the vehicle) were capable of, all the time providing guidance and coaching at the highest levels of professionalism. Several things happen at the end of each tour:
1. Complete disappointment that the tour has ended
2. A very strong sense of achievement through enjoyment
3. Immediate pestering of Andrew for a spot on next years trips

There are several key discriminators that make Andrews trips different (and in our view greater value for money) than other companies.
1. Andrew does not like the idea of the 'standard beaten track' so he will find ways to approach everything from a fresh perspective and the standing joke amongst his many repeat travellers is that he never goes the same way twice.
2. Somehow Andrew manages to feed one and all 3 x hot meals a day plus morning and afternoon tea from his vehicle. The food is excellent and I suspect the vehicle is part Tardis! This is important because it allows one and all to gather around the fireplace and interact at a level not achievable on self catered trips. Merriment and tall tales are the order of the day.
3. Be prepared to be flexible - programs and routes will change to maximise the experience and that guarantees some amazing memories.
As long as we can travel we will be travelling with Andrew.

A fabulous trip to places we never thought we would get to. Andrew is a great tour leader with an amazing knowledge of outback Australia. He plans the trips so there is plenty of time for stops & the pace is slow enough so that you can appreciate the surrounding country but fast enough so that you feel like you have made progress at the end of each day. In addition to being a great and knowledgeable tour leader Andrew is also a trained mechanic which provides great peace of mind.
Andrew is also a superb cook so there is always a splendid meal to be had around the campfire with other group members at the end of the day.
If you are wanting to see the real outback there is no better company than Global4WD Tours to take you there.

Another exceptional and amazing trip with Andrew to Arnhem Land! To see the natural beauty of this untouched part of Australia, we were truly humbled to be able to experience the indigenous culture and learn of their beliefs and values and their connection with this beautiful country that we share. Andrew and Hal, thank you for this wonderful experience, one that we truly will never forget.
