I utilised Glenray's linen service for a year, but my experience has been far from satisfactory. In November 2024, they abruptly ceased providing linen due to ongoing logistical issues, including frequent truck and machine breakdowns. I was given just over two weeks to arrange alternative linen, during which I received minimal and often incorrect information.
I was assured that I would receive a refund for unused linen; however, after returning the items, I was informed that no refund would be issued. This lack of clarity was incredibly frustrating.
Several common issues plagued the linen service, including:
- Quality Control: The quality of the linen often fell short. I frequently received items that were stained or had holes, leading to them being returned unused.
- Sizing Problems: Sheets rarely fit the beds properly, which added to the inconvenience.
- Order Discrepancies: My orders were often altered without any notification. For example, I would order queen sheets but receive king-sized ones instead, or I would request bath sheets only to be sent inferior bath towels.
- Pickup Challenges: Arranging for the pick-up of dirty linen was a hassle. Dirty linen would sometimes pile up, and I found myself having to order new linen just to prompt a pick-up.
Given these persistent issues, I had already planned to discontinue the service in early 2025. Unfortunately, Glenray's logistic problems expedited this decision. I unfortunately cannot recommend their linen service to anyone seeking reliable, quality linen.
