The photos of this motel are obviously very old. The motel has also changed its name to Glen Innes Lodge Motel.|Huge dog barks at you behind a fence with a beware of dog sign as soon as you pull up. |Vinyl floors, good for pets. The one armchair had obviously been a scratch post for cat.|Very, very basic accommodation as expected from the price.|Old innerspring mattress had seen better days.|No shampoo or conditioner. But the shower was great. Additional toilet roll over the hand basin was a unique feature.|

I recently stayed at The Glenn Innes Lodge Motel and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of comfort and attentive service provided by the staff. On arrival, it took 10 mins before anyone came to the office.
While paying for our room we enquired about the advertised restaurant and breakfast and was told, we don't do breakfast, and we don't have a restaurant.
The other people staying here had no control over their children and let then run wild kicking other peoples cars and putting dents in them.
I will never stay at this establishment again, and could not recommend it to anyone.

It is a great family run motel. It is neat, clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. A continental breakfast was provided and it was a great way to start gthe day. Cannot fault the stay.

A classic country motel, brick walls and a long shelf to put everything on, we chose the Glen Innes Lodge for a one-night stopover principally because it was advertised as dog friendly, which proved to be true. It’s fairly basic but clean and equipped with all the usual motel amenities, including a microwave. The only downside is all the rooms face the New England Highway, as do many of the other motels in the town, so it tended to be noisy at night. It’s about 20 minutes’ walk into the main shopping and cafe centre of Grey Street, but the route is either along the highway or through uninspiring back streets, so we drove into town and walked Harry beside the Rocky Ponds Creek in Anzac Park. It’s a pleasant enough park and there’s a small off-leash area at the northern end beyond the toilet at Ferguson Street.

We had excellent overnight rest after long day drive, with two kids and our dog, the room was big and clean, beds were very comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpfull. Location is great with shops and restaurants only 3 minutes drive from this motel. We had delish dinner and good sleep after that, so needed before next day long drive.
