I don't normally leave sub par reviews, but seriously, with the cost of living as high as it is, people need to know where they should spend their hard earned (most of the time) money. The Glen Innes & District Services Club is not the place. Sorry. The Staff behind the bar are a bunch of great kids, they really are, but the drinks taste wrong. Gin & Tonic, the house Sav Blanc, and a tap beer, which I neglected to ask, which one it was.
The Stones Restaurant, which is in the Club, is a complete letdown. We were at a large function on Saturday night. The meals took hours, yes, hours to get to the tables. At the start of the night I counted 3 Wait Staff ! Hours later, when the desserts arrived, they had managed to get a lot more staff there but it seemed way too little, too late. The roast meals were cold, not nice at all, and some of the staff ended up being downright rude, probably because they were part of the original staff that were on from the beginning of the night. I have no idea why the Stones management thought 3 or 4 Wait Staff were enough to cover a fully packed Auditorium.
It gives me no pleasure whatsoever to leave a bad review, this is the first one I have ever done. I love taking the time to leave positive feedback when we dine out. I left this a few days before submitting it, to make sure I still felt the same way about the meals and service supplied by the Stones Restaurant. I do, sadly.

at a moments notice they pulled the Australian Celtic festival together after a rainout at The Standing Stones and did it real justice! The music played all day into the night, the bar staff danced along, the celtic food was fabulous and they are the best!

Went for lunch. Friendly staff, big meals, nice and hot when it arrived. They clear the tables quickly as people go. Nothing worse walking into a eatery with dirty place still on the table after the people have left. ?

What a great venue. Very welcoming. The food was delicious. Staff were really tuned into customer service. Friendly and extremely efficient.

We ordered 2 Rump steaks and veg $30 each!! The meals on first look were massive. But the meat was of poor quality, very chewy and fatty. See pic. No seasoning on meat or sauce. Obviously been grilled on one side and put under grill on the other. Very disappointing meal. I'm sorry but I won't be back to eat. Beers were a good price.

Followed good reviews and would have to agree the baked dinner was delicious and we ordered the crumbed steak chips and salad as well
Steak was delicious chips crispy and lovely and salad fresh and crisp
Would highly recommend. Great value and scrumptious.
