An old creepy building. A storm of epic proportions. Could it get any better? It sure did. Jo, the tours guide of our Old Adelaide Gaol tour definitely made the night. With a wonderful mix of theatricality, great subject knowledge, and compassion for the people whose stories are told, she made the night truly worthwhile. Will definitely join her for more tours when I come back to SA. Highly recommend.

My husband and myself did the Old Adelaide Gaol tour last night. Our tour guide Jo was amazing. She knew alot about the Gaol and some of its more infamous residents. It's clear that she loves what she does and that made the night even more enjoyable. We had so much fun and look forward to doing more tours (especially if we can get Jo as our guide). Sorry about the unexpected visitor we had in the new section. Hubby assures me that she just wanted to say Hello and meant no malicious intent and yes, he did leave her behind when he left.
Thanks for a great night. We would highly recommend this tour.

Had an awesome night at the City of Adelaide Clipper Ship. Our guide, Jo, was easy to like and very knowledgeable and made the evening even more memorable. Had some very interesting interactions with a George Horace Lynch who was married in Port Adelaide and hanged at the Old Adelaide Gaol for murder. Lots of corroborating evidence on ghost tube was astounding.
Now we just need to find out his connection to the ship. Fascinating.
Will definitely be looking at doing more of Jo’s investigations.

I did the Port Adelaide tour. Yes, it is very interesting and full of fun anecdotes. The tour itself is not scary. It is more about the history of the place, its hauntings or spirits, and how they came to be. The tour is a bit long and can get a bit tiring in that sense. Otherwise, it’s a good way to learn about the history of Port Adelaide and some very interesting facts too. My favourite spot was the firehouse (I think that’s what it’s called).

Was a great tour highly recommend, Jo was very easy to listen to and very knowledgeable/passionate about what she was talking about. Was a great night even with our encounter near the end of the night (scaring is silly). Will be doing the tour again. Thanks Again Jo for an awesome night.

A group of us have just completed 2 of the best nights of history and investigation with Ghost Crime Tour Guide Jo. Jo was very knowledgeable about both the Adelaide Gaol and Kapunda Hotel and her passion for the what she does shows in how she treats her guests. We had recently done a tour of Kapunda and left quite disappointed with how it was run, however after this tour with Jo our faith in ghost crime tours has been restored. 5 stars all round from our entire group and we will be back for more. 👻

We recently went to a KIDS Ghost Crime Tour at the Old Adelaide Gaol last night with my two daughters and my sister, and we all had an amazing experience. We got to see a lot, and also learnt a lot about the history of the building and the history of all the thousands of people who been through that building when it was actively used by inmates. We had hostess Jo and Sharon who were our guide last night and they did such an awesome job with tour, explaining everything about the history of it all. I definitely will be back again with taking the kids to more KIDS tours and even will be back indefinitely for the adult-only tours with my sister as well. If Google star rating was upto 10 stars instead of 5, I would have given this a 10 Star rating.

We've just had an absolutely fantastic night at the Adelaide Gaol with Jo as our guide. The Gaol itself is a beautiful building with so much amazing history and character. But it was Jo and her story telling that really made the night one to remember. Jo was so charismatic and a wealth of knowledge. A perfect mix of history, true crime stories and spooky anecdotes. Highly recommend this tour and we're hoping to do more Ghost Crime Tours in the future!
