We stayed at the Adelaide Beachfront Park (Semaphore Park) over the Gather Round weekend and they were brilliant. We had a maintenance issue (not their fault) and they were responsive, polite and worked through the issue until it was fixed. The park is clean and well-maintained, as well as being in a fantastic spot.

I was trying to work out how 80 people could review a business so low. But the mystery was resolved when I arrived at GDay Parks West Wyalong March 13, 2025 5.30 p.m. The park was empty and I saw there was lots of cabins available. I drove in and got out of the car when a sorely woman at the office in her 70s came onto her balcony ( Juliette's job is safe ) and she said, can I help you ? I said kindly, do you have any cabins to which she nastily replied " booked out ". Very bitter reception. I can now see why this brand is so damaged and lost customer satisfaction. You drive all day to be met by an unwelcoming medusa. Anyone'd think when I drove in I'd run over her broomstick. I will never drive into a GDay Park again. Unpleasant experience

9th March 2025
Lake Burrembeet Ballarat Victoria G'Day Caravan Park. A large dog NOT RESTRAINED ran and attacked me and my small dog totally restrained, whilst walking on the road inside the park. As a result this caused me to fall and break my arm. I reported the incident to the park owner and asked to complete an incident report and was told "we don't have THAT, it's got nothing to do with us, it's between you and the other dog owner". There are numerous signs in the park DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH. I showed the park owner the camp site od the dog owner, but the attitude to me was disgraceful, and full of hostility.
After spending 8 hours at Ballarat emergency hospital, on my return the dog and owner had left the park. I had to pay for another night's stay.
The reason for staying in parks is the safety and security whilst on holidays and expecting all the rules set are strictly upheld.
Over time I have stayed in numerous G'Day parks and found them to be very well run, clean and a pleasure to stay. The lack of professionalism in Lake Burrembeet park is outragous and sends a very clear message they don't care about the paying public.

Yeah, booked early, nov24 for march. So booked EARLY. UNEVEN SLOPING SITES at Port Lincoln + coffin bay. Totally in the dirt.
Then people come by who booked 5 minutes ago as I was advised, nice level drive thru sites, either a mat, or grass!!
I should have not booked, + just rolled in on the day like many others.
Sound like I'm whinging, well you'd only think that if you got flat decent, matted elevated, drive thru site!! And this was for several nights too!!!

Very difficult to book on line although the personnel at Lake Hume were very helpful. Tried to book on line at South Goulburn and on the first try was told my payment had not gone through. Booked again then found the first had gone through so had two bookings for the one night. Contacted Gday and they cancelled both it seems. I paid $54 each time and it appears will lose $40 .

I have stayed with Big 4, Ingenia, Council run and many, many privately owned caravan parks, but never have I come across such an uncaring, unfriendly, unwelcoming park like Big Rig Tourist Park Roma. A booking was made 3 months prior to our travel. The rooms we reserved, we're not the rooms we were allocated upon arrival. The attitude was " We didn't take the bookings". Maybe they didn't, but I think they should still honour the bookings that had been previously arranged. I know things don't always go to plan, but this "I don't care attitude, doesn't belong in a holiday park. My first stay with G'day parks has certainly left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Terrible customer service.
Park contact personnel told us to contact Gday parks but Gday parks 1300 number don't have humans to answer the phones.

Edit. I was contacted by park personnel and was told the staff on duty was not aware of the process. I got my refund after 1 week.

I am very disappointed with the overly strict cancellation policy of G'day parks
I have bern a member for a number of years and had booked two G'day parks on our trip from Perth to Exmouth. Unfortunately we had car trouble and notified all the parks about 1 week prior that we were needing to cancel. All parks EXCEPT BOTH the G'day parks were ok refunding our payments. How dissapointing this is that this brand are so inflexible that they would not even issue a credit against my membership to use at another park.
