Modern but Quaint little town house, located in a block of a few properties along side it at the corner block.
Noise levels and privacy is a little compromised as they are very close to other rentals.
The unit itself was self sufficient and neatly presented. Not really suited if traveling with children, more so the quick business trip stay.
Location was convenient, walking distance to local pub and park.

Gawler townhouses was a great place to stay. The place was nice to stay in and the location is great! Some things that I would say could be better is could be a bit cleaner and there a few things that need some fixing (keybox)( light switches).

Average accommodation barely good enough for 1 night let alone 2 and forget getting ready for a wedding. Nowhere for suitcases or to hang clothes, nowhere to put toiletries as no bench or power point in the bathroom or anywhere to use a hair-dryer. Constant damp smell, shower only hot water for one person and unable to wash hair. A pile of wet empty cardboard boxes greeted us on arrival. Open containers of shampoo and conditioner and body wash in shower. Cereal box provided was half eaten. Upside bed was comfortable but bring your own pillows. Had to find alternate accommodation to be able to get ready for the wedding we drove 10 hours to attend. |

We stayed in townhouse 1C. The location is excellent. It is right across the road from a park and is within easy walking distance to the local shops. Our first impression was disappointing as when we pulled up, there was a large pile of wet cardboard waste piled up near our room in plain view.

Upon entering the room, we found it to be very cramped. This was made more so by the fact there was no where to hang clothes or store suitcases.

The kitchenette was right next to the bed which makes any attempt at cooking even simple things a no go. There was some basic breakfast options supplied like weetbix but these had been used by others and were left in open packaging. There is also no table to sit at to eat your food.

There was only 1 powerpoint in the room and that was over the bench in the kitchenette. There was nowhere to charge your phone or even use a hair dryer.

The bathroom was cramped and flooded easily because water drainage was super slow. You can't shave or brush your teeth in the sink provided because it is so small and doesn't drain properly. There is a very limited supply of hot water. Not even enough for one person to shower and wash your hair. The toiletries supplied were supermarket options that have been previously used by other guests.

Due to the small nature of the room and the lack of airflow, there was a strong smell of damp that never left. The owners have had to install a humidifier in the room to counter this but the smell remained.

The split system for heating and cooling was very noisy and you could not use it overnight due to the noise.

Townhouses are spacious clean and equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay in beautiful Gawler . Our townhouse was perfect , ideal for couples or families. Bars, Cafes and local hotels are all within walking distance , along with some nice boutiques . Gawler has a lot to offer the traveller who also just wants to have a look around the beautiful town and sight some lovely historic buildings . Gawler townhouses are in the perfect location and i would definitely stay there again in my next trip to SA.

Perfect location. Quiet. Large rooms. Comfortable. Talking point of a picture on the wall .. debated if it was of a wolf, lamb or bat flying in clouds 😜 no issues at all with our stay. Would stay again when I visit the barossa in future 😍

Very nice place, big spacious rooms, modern interior with kitchenette in a great location. Walking distance to the shops and park and right next to the train station. Would definitely stay there again.

Great little self contained loft. Good location. However, there were personal items from previous visitors left behind such as old clothing in the draws.
