Gateway Motel - Vineyard, NSW

I stay at the Gateway whenever I’m in Sydney for medical appointments.
For the price this hotel is fabulous.
The rooms are always clean and well presented.
All the Staff are wonderful

If you don’t like noise I suggest the newer side of the hotel just for the older sides proximity to the Pubs new beer gardens

Lovely stay at the Gateway. The motel was clean and the dining options at the Vineyard and Tommy’s cafe were amazing. It also had onsite laundry facilities which was very convenient and the staff were friendly. It was our favourite motel stop driving from Queensland through to Melbourne.

The place was clean! The staff (reception) was very accomodating. I have driven from Melbourne to Sydney and was very tired after the long drive. I approached the lady at the reception desk and requested if I could do a late check-out the next day, and she happily allowed me and left a special note for everyone to allow me do a late check-out. Very much appreciated! Would definitely stay there again.

Well this motel is just amazing. We upgraded to a king room for extra $40 but well worth it. |Fairly new building and room was huge.|Great price for such a great room|Bed was comfortable and shower was really big.|It is part of the Vineyard hotel which is just gorgeous everywhere.|Great outdoor eating area and a beautiful Xmas village for all the kids and looks fantastic at night.|The staff are all the friendliest we have ever come across.|You must stay here and enjoy the atmosphere

The hotel was a lovely surprise. We stayed in the newly built motel and enjoyed a very large comfortable room with everything we needed. The location was ideal because we were celebrating with family at the adjoining hotel. The staff were pleasant and attentive.

We were in Vineyard for the Flyball Championships in Clarendon. The hotel suited us very well. Only real problem was, dog rooms should be on the ground floor, all that walking up and down the stairs in the night is a bit of a pain. Staff was great, and room clean and tidy. Lovely meals as well.

We had an overnight stay to break our Melblourne-Brisbane road trip. The place was very spacious, very clean, the beds are comfortable. I would have loved to sleep in a little bit more but had to be out by 5 am to complete the journey. The reason of 3 star is only because a lot of the area was underconstruction.

I don't think I've ever given a motel a 1 star review, but the noise we experienced warrants it. We were given an upstairs room in the motel facing Windsor road, not the newer block. We had a very pleasant meal in the pubs bistro but found we struggled to hear each other across the table due to the volume the excellent singer sang at, who was set up in the newly grassed outside area. Apparently, the beautifully decorated and huge undercover area we sat in had only been open for 3 days, and the following night was to be the grand opening.|As we had an early start the following morning, we were back in our room at 7.30pm and could not believe how loud the music was inside, through closed windows. The singer was literally outside our room, so to block out the noise, we decided to watch tv rather than read. I rang reception, wanting to ask when the music would stop, but it went to an answering machine. When I didn't get a return call, I rang the restaurant and commented how loud it was and when it would stop, and was told 10pm! |Even when the singer went on his break, the recorded music was just a little bit quieter. |The room itself was very large, though we only had a rather uncomfortable double bed, not a queen. There was a settee, mwo, toaster, kettle, large TV, table and 2 chairs, good shower, though no tissues or body wash. Linen and towels were very good quality. ||We were woken at 5.30am with continual traffic noise, a Saturday, and the curtains weren't blockout, so they let a lot of light in. ||Whilst I realise we were adjacent to a pub, the volume was extremely loud, and there wasn't anyone sitting in the grassed area listening to the performer. ||I'm still waiting for the manager on duty to reply to my call. ||If live and loud music doesn't worry you, and you don't need to get up early, this may be the place for you, but if it does concern you, ring first and see if they've got a performer on the night you wish to stay. |We wouldn't stay again.
