I wanted to try stand up for years. I knew I could tell jokes but just couldn’t write my own. Mick and Nicky were really supportive, gave great feedback and fostered a real esprit de corps among me and my fellow novices. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to get out of the comfort zone- the graduation show was a real motivation to work hard and produce something. Thanks to the expert guidance I soon got over the nerves and found myself really enjoying the experience. Thank you so much!

Mick and Nicky create an amazing, supportive environment that keeps you laughing while you learn. The chance to attend live shows during the course was a bonus that inspired my own material (who knew toothbrushes could be that funny?). Soooooo good. We recently hired Funny Coast for our Property Lane team Christmas party and it was hilarious start to finish.
From the very first conversation with Mick to discuss options right through to the day of the show everything was too easy.
For their part of the evening (4 stand up comedians , Shad Wicka, Jacques Barrett, Bahram Saba & Harley Breen) everything was managed by Funny Coast, including sound equipment and lighting needed.
The stand up part of our evening was a surprise for our team, they had no idea who the "entertainment" was and they were not dissapointed. Everyone is still raving about how much fun the night was and we will find any excuse to work with these guys again!
The best idea for a corporate event or any party really.

Unfortunately, they were so good that we don't know how we will top this for next year's party!!

My boss arranged to have Comedians entertain us at our recent office Christmas Party. What a fabulous idea and gosh did we laugh. All 3 guys were perfectly suited to our sense of humor and 2 hours absolutely flew by. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to do something a little different.

I did the beginners comedy class and If you are thinking about doing this you definitely should! It was excellent!! Mick and Nicky were super helpful and funny, they have years of experience and are incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to comedy writing and performing. This will transform you from the class clown into a semi confident 1st year apprentice comic in just a short few days. Highly recommend!
