Absolutely incredible! I had the most amazing experience at the Grand Hotel. From the moment I walked into the Riverview function room I knew I wanted to have my wedding there. It is such a beautiful and rustic function space. The function manager Nicole, Molly & Sarah are amazing! They were so quick to respond to any queries and were super accomodating. The canapés at our wedding were a huge hit! Especially the burgers, everyone still raves about them. I am so happy with my overall experience at the Grand. They really were an incredible venue space and the customer service is exceptional. I would HIGHLY recommend the Grand for any function!

We had our engagement in the Riverview Room and it was a great night. The staff were lovely and organising the event was a smooth process. All the feedback I have had from guests was positive and they all loved the location. The food was amazing and private bar service was great. Would definitely have another function here. My only regret is not getting more photos.

Functions at the Grand Riverview Room was the perfect wedding venue. There was plenty of space for everyone to mingle, dance, and relax at the cocktail tables, outdoor seating, and lounge areas. We had our ceremony on the beautiful balcony, followed by a cocktail-style reception — it couldn’t have been more stunning.

We also loved that we could head down to the Yarra River for photos with some truly gorgeous backdrops. The food was amazing, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, catering to all allergies and dietary needs with ease.

Throughout the entire planning process and on the big day, Nicole and the functions team were incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and making everything run so smoothly. Thank you for helping us celebrate our special day so seamlessly!

This was our second function at The Grand. We just recently celebrated my husband’s 50th in the Riverview Room. Once again, the staff were fantastic and the food was delicious (the duck pancakes, a favourite). It is such a gorgeous venue with a beautiful, leafy view.
The function team were fabulous to deal with and very accommodating.

We truly had the most incredible time at Next Door. Everyone who attended our event commented on how perfect the venue was and how lovely and efficient the staff were. The food and wine was absolutely delicious & the kitchen was very generous and accomodating for dietary requirements.

The team were incredibly accommodating and helpful in the lead up to our event and it made everything run so smoothly on the day. We would highly recommend Next Door for anyone looking for a wonderful private venue with great food, drinks and hospitality.

We had our surprise wedding at The Grand and it was amazing! Nicole & Alysha were both so easy to communicate with and very responsive to emails in the lead up to our function. The function manager that we had on the night was also brilliant, checked in on all of the finer details throughout the night and made sure everything ran smoothly!
The food was DELICIOUS - so many of our friends and family commented on how good it was, and that there was more than enough of it, and no one still felt hungry as you sometimes can after a cocktail function; everyone was well and truly full with the amount of food that was brought out.
The only minor hiccup that we had was that the Spotify playlist was doing bizarre things and skipping out of the playlist I had prepared and started playing random songs, but the staff were quick to fix this for me when I noticed it happening.
We've had friends & family mention that they've already been back to the Grand for a pub meal since our wedding, or that they have plans to. Such a fantastic venue!

We hired the Caledonia Room at The Grand hotel Warrandyte for our staff Christmas party. What a wonderful night! The room is beautiful with amazing views from the balcony and the staff were on point. We were looked after so well all night and the food and bar beverages were excellent. Cannot recommend The Grand and the Caledonia room highly enough for a celebration- it’s the perfect space for socialising , eating and drinking, dancing and partying-loved it!☺️🥂

Our club held its End of Year Function at The Grand and we thoroughly enjoyed the venue, the food, and the staff were very friendly and great to work with. The venue with a mixture of inside and outside standing/seating provided a flexible option for our guests. Many of our club members commented to me how much they really enjoyed the venue. We highly recommend this venue for Club or other special events. I have been to quite few myself and all have been great events.
