Working nearby for ages I always wanted to try Frango’s because of the hype. For me it didn’t live up to expectation.

They didn’t get off to the best start as they forgot to give me the flat bread I paid $3 extra for in my bag. I didn’t realise till I got back to work.

The Portuguese chicken itself is not bad, but just not my favourite. I wouldn’t mind coming back to give the burgers a go though!

Chicken was average, with flavour from charcoal and marinade lacking, and rice very simple, its colour owing purely to the addition of puréed tomato. A basic lunch, but nothing special.

Nobody else will ever give me the kindness and love shown to me by the staff at Frango Petersham. My chicken BLT combo meal with extra lettuce was delectable and fresh; my afternoon was made beautiful by the kind and generous staff working today. The world would become a beautiful place if everyone was as wonderful as the Frango Petersham Wednesday lunchtime staff.

Had to walk out! Ordered and due to lack of tables to sit, when I asked can I sit inside the server quickly said you’ll have to order from there and costs more and cancelled my order. She has the personality or a wet blanket. Three occasions she’s been so rude standoffish and quickly to turn people away. Never will I ever come here again to be treated like that!

Thought I’d see what all the hype is about this place. I bought a whole chicken yesterday with 2 side salads. The chicken was so dry that we ended up throwing out. The 2 salads were lack lustre and both must have had the exact same dressing so it was boring. I was hoping the chicken was going to be awesome but sadly was the worst chicken I’ve had.

Food is great. But if your ordering anything other than chicken at lunch time, expect a long wait. Esp burgers. It was a 20 minute wait. Together with Sydney trains workers and uber, its best to get the chicken and go
