I attended a mid-sized workshop at Forrest Hotel and Apartments and was genuinely impressed with the facilities. No stuffy air, no fluorescent fatigue, and none of that trapped-in-a-room-with-no-windows feeling we all secretly dread. The workshop space was bright, airy, and genuinely comfortable. The kind of room where you can stay focused without feeling drained. The staff were warm and welcoming, parking was easy, and the facilities were spot-on: a spacious room, comfortable seating, fresh pens and paper, solid audio/visuals, and an excellent coffee machine that deserves its own five stars. A fantastic venue for workshops that want participants alert, engaged, and happy to be there.

My husband and I had a two night stay in these apartments in March this year.
The apartments are very well appointed with a full kitchen, a dishwasher and there was a separate sit-down lounge which included a small table where you could have your meal. The bedroom was very comfortable with terrific bed-side touch lamps which were great for reading.
We would not hesitate to come back and stay.
The location is very good and is within walking distance to a shopping hub which had good shops and restaurants.
The location suited us perfectly and was very quiet. We wish we had more time to relax within the lovely grassy area with a nice garden surrounding it.
We had not been to Canberra for 41 years.
We so look forward to visiting again and Forest Hotel and Apartments would be our place of choice.

Location good if you’re driving. I was passing through Canberra and was able to avoid the centre completely.. The Restaurant is closed on the weekends but Manuka shops are 10 mins walk. Staff very nice. The room was well appointed and warm on a -6 deg night. Great TV but …. See below||Staff did what they could but I was last guest in to a full house. So I was in 1 of 2 rooms which have the windows painted out!!! So avoid #47 & #48 in a dark passageway. ||TV very frustrating. Inscrutable instructions endless sign ins and all I wanted was to watch live TV stations which was not possible. Could only watch streaming if you are prepared to log in to your own account||I’d stay again for one night on the road but …

This has become our go to place to stay in Canberra. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Parking is free. The location is excellent, close to everything. Also they have some wonderful combination offers with galleries and events that are really useful.

I don’t usually leave reviews in this case was worth it! The rooms look like not much on the outside you open the door and walk into a luxurious apartment. They are spacious and clean the staff were so helpful and would definitely stay again! The heated blanket was definitely amazing with the cold front that has just hit.

Stayed for a night during the school holidays on an overnight trip to Canberra. Was an excellent location with very short trips to the places we visited. The 2 room Apartment we stayed in had everything you would need for a short or long stay, comfortable and even had the heat on for our arrival. Meals from the restaurant (room service) was excellent and service was great easy to order and no hassles. Will definitely stay again when coming back to Canberra.

We booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights in June at an affordable member's online rate. It was modern, well maintained and had everything we needed for a self contained stay including a washer/dryer in the kitchen. The Forest location was quiet and treed, close to Manuka and Canberra's many attractions. We would stay there again and recommend it.
