The smashed avocado was delicious and loved the flavors. I’ve had a lot of smashed avo and this is possibly the best so far. Loved the mix of creative ingredients, didn’t expect to enjoy the cucumber on a smashed avo so much! The only thing I could possibly nitpick is the dressing being slightly too sweet, but truly a 10/10.

The pictures don’t really show just how good it was. Must try place, and the pricing is higher than average.

Been here several times and I’ve always enjoyed the food. My favourite is the breakfast pasta and the pork belly benedict with poached egg. Love the new tiramisu iced latte, too bad it’s only available this summer.

What Strathfieldsaye desperately needed was an absolutely awesome cafe that serves excellent quality food and coffee - the cakes and snacks are just as good too. I’ve been a long time customer here and the friendly environment (plus the food!) keeps me coming back even though I live and work on the other side of town.

Great pride is taken in your coffee making, so you’re never going to get anything that will ruin your morning if it’s the first cup of the day. Definitely worth the drive regardless of where you live in Bendigo, or if you’re driving through on the way to Heathcote or Melbourne.

Hands down, BEST chilli eggs I have ever had in my life. Staff get a little overwhelmed when it’s busy but I can understand. The atmosphere is great but if you’re finally getting a chance to go out on a date with your husband, away from the kids… stay out the front, away from all the babies and toddlers for a more peaceful experience lol!

Hands down, I have to say this is the best cafe I have been too. Awesome atmosphere, super-friendly staff, absolutely delicious food, overall AMAZING service! Get a load of the apple and cinnamon porridge 👌. Honestly I can’t recommend Forage Bendigo higher - they are such a great business and food is quality fresh. Cost is very reasonable for the quality and the food does not disappoint at all - best bacon and egg burger ever. It’s not an option - you must visit sometime when in Bendigo. You won’t be disappointed!

Subpar food, subpar service, such a shame for a nice looking cafe. Friend and I went to try it after hearing very good things but where very disappointing, service staff were nice but the providing of service was pretty poor, we where waiting to have our order taken and had others who came in after us order taken first and the slice that was ordered didn’t even make it to the table before we gotten our main meal, eaten it and left. Ordered bacon and eggs on toast it was alright definitely not worth the price I paid especially 7$ for bacon that was forgotten at first and only 2 measly pieces however my friends chips were nice and had a tasty seasoning but My friends cream brûlée coffee was burnt and tasted like Charcoal, and for a $7 and $12 ice coffee you’d expect it to be bigger than a small. Unfortunately disappointing. Definitely could have used with a few more staff members as everyone’s drinks where sitting there waiting for at least 10 minutes to be given out.
