At some point this week I ventured into this establishment… might I say the cleanest plates and glasses I have ever seen. Thank you for respecting your hygiene. Please let me know what products you use because my dishes At home need some work. By the way how DO you cook those mushrooms… c’est bonne. And.. if you could pm me the butter you use… recommended by the volunteer lifeguards and was not let down 🙂

Popped in on a Friday just after opening. Warm welcome from the staff. Large venue with plenty of seating. Good Beer selection available in three sizes - midi, schooner and pint. Good prices compared to Melbourne. Good food selection and large portions. Music not too loud. Not very busy when we were there.

This place is amazing!!! The food was next level good, we had the Lamb shoulder and the St Louis Pork ribs and both of them were delicious. We went on open mike night and the artists and acoustics were fantastic. Yes this place has great beer, but trust me the food and atmosphere combined with the beer is what I really liked. Can’t wait to come back the Newcastle, this place would be top of my list to visit again.

Excellent beers, the Kolsch was the surprise standout. However the food, OMG the lamb shoulder was amazing. I’d come back just to try the other meals on offer.

First, we went for a brewery tour on site. The tour was quite short, but packed with information. It not only involved the typical beer brewing process, but also some history about the building and the brewery, as well as what makes the beer at FogHorn quite special.

Shoutout to Toby, our guide who was very personable and made the whole experience both interesting and fun.

For our late lunch, we enjoyed the beers that Toby recommended us to try, and the food did not disappoint: Tender, succulent and flavourful. The service from the rest of the staff that served us was excellent.

Great atmosphere and really friendly service. The Foghorn burger is great, the fries that come with it are amazing. The pizzas are a massive size but in my opinion a little average in flavour. The prices for food in general is a little expensive but the great service and amazing atmosphere more than make up for it! Would definitely recommend checking out this place when in Newcastle.

Usually I like this place, great location and ambience but the last meal I had was horrible.

Don't waste your money getting ribs. U may likely regret. They have some other good meals though.
