My family had a great time in Hawker for our long weekend! I really appreciate everything that the owner Nigel has done for us. Nigel is a fantastic owner who is very friendly and kind. We are so please and feel comfortable when we stay in the house. The house is clean, tidy, and has everything that we need. Nigel gave us a warm welcome and hot bread ready to eat! Thanks Nigel for your surprising gift for the kids and the lovely plant for us! 🙂 We highly recommend this house for everyone who intends to have a nice and peaceful holiday in Hawker!

We had 7 fabulous nights at Nigel’s place. It is a great base for touring the Flinders Ranges. The house was very clean and comfortable and had every amenity we needed. The Kent wood heater kept us toasty warm on the cold nights. Nigel’s friendly welcome was greatly appreciated as was the lovely warm loaf of bread on arrival. We will be back. Highly recommended.

Nigel was our host with the most!
A great communicator, he sent a detailed list of the accommodation and its facilities. My wife remarked that it is the best equipped place we have stayed. Modern and very clean, the fridge was bulging with delicious victuals, a bread mix was ready for baking, 2 TVs, much travel reference material. To cap off our experience, a delightful outdoor garden area allowed star gazing at night! It was truly a fabulous gateway to the inestimable Flinders Ranges.

We stayed at Nigel’s b&b in late August, with my parents for 1 night. Nigel provides the ideal base for either travelling into the Flinders Ranges or relaxing in Hawker. The house is spacious and extremely clean throughout, with so many thoughtful inclusions to make your stay comfortable and homely. Nigel is very personable and welcoming, and a pleasure to deal with. We had a most wonderful stay at Nigel’s place. A great base to explore the Flinders Ranges, look no further! The accommodation was spotless, equipped with anything you could wish, so quiet, private and peaceful. Fridge was fully stocked with fruit, jams, eggs, bacon, ham, juices and 5 (!) sorts of milk. Nigel welcomed us with freshly baked bread and all information about his house, Hawker and Flinders. Wonderful landscaped back yard with BBQ, large tables and amazing star gazer lounges. Nigel is a most hospitable host we ever met!

We recently stayed at Flinders Rangers Bed & Breakfast, Nigel our host made us feel more than welcome. Not only were the bedding comfortable, we found the the breakfast choices were over the top, the home made bread was awesome. We stayed at Nigel’s B&B in Hawker last night, and would have stayed longer but the house was booked. If you like to stay in an immaculately clean, comfortable home then this place has everything you could possibly need. Nigel is friendly and informative and he provides every little detail to make his guests feel welcome and at home. The garden is lovely, the bathroom spotless, the linen beautifully clean and the kitchen is fully equipped. Worth staying in Hawker just to experience this level of care and hospitality.

We had an unforgettable stay at Nigel's place. It truly feels like a home away from home, the cosy couches and the coffee machine were all we needed when we arrived under the rain and Nigel had prepared a bread that was baking and smelling wonderful. We really enjoyed the amenities and Nigel provided lots of local tips. It is truly one of the best bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed in and I hope I will come back!
