I visited this branch to ask about some travel plans I had for which booking the right flight was proving difficult. I was under the impression that the staff would be helpful in advising me on booking plans, or in making the booking on my behalf.

Instead, I was given limited information (and constantly reminded of the mark up that Flight Center puts on top of the final cost), and no advice/guidance/alternatives etc... at all...

The staff member serving me made it quite clear she was not interested in serving me. She didn't smile, didn't offer any actual advice, and didn't even engage in any small talk. She was dry and short and clearly not interested in my business. Which was ironic because I was actually there to seek their help and pay for their services.

Anyways. Disappointed but not entirely surprised. Please do better Flight Center.

Top effort by Dannelle Talvi and staff at North Sydney Flight Center. Travel arrangements can be stressful sometimes. Leave everything to them! Changes made to itinerary no problem. Helpful and totally efficient. Found best flights. All connected beautifully with minimal wait. Will definitely use them again next holidays.

If you're excited about your trip, opt for an agency with higher standards. This branch's service varies, with warm welcomes on some days and cold, rude service on others. They cite being busy and understaffed, but that's not your problem as a customer. For a better trip start, explore other options. Flight Centre's responses to reviews suggest they're addressing the issue, but the same individuals continue to behave the same way, showing no real change.

Edit: Thanks FC for the response, appreciate what you're saying but still not the customer's burden, nor an excuse for rudeness, which you well know yet appear to gloss over. Needs improvement

Just booked international tickets in store.
Chris gave me confidence and allowed me to easily plan a stop-over and I took his advice/knowledge to better cater for my travels. Customer service was as good as I have experience for a long time. Will be a repeat customer

Had to pick one star only because zero isn’t an option. Our experience with the agent named Dannelle was the absolute worst - she was rude, impatient, disrespectful, and disinterested in helping us in any possible way. And this wasn’t a one-off incident. We went there twice over a span of three months, and she behaved the same way during both our visits. Thanks to her service (or the lack thereof), we’ll never be using Flight Centre ever again.
