While in Australia from Canada, we booked a Royal Caribbean cruise with Sarah. She was so kind and helpful and the process was smooth and easy. The day we were embarking onto the ship (in fact we were walking from our hotel in Sydney to the international terminal), I received a call that my Dad was dying. We of course couldn’t get on the ship and needed to get back to Melbourne but I had no idea how on earth to cancel a cruise for a family of four literally minutes before boarding it. I called Sarah and she was so incredibly kind and compassionate and assured me she would take care of it. We immediately began driving back to Melbourne and she kept me appraised of her communication with RC and also facilitated a refund for our on board purchases we had already made (drinks packages, ship tour etc). My dear dad passed away a few days later but I am so incredibly grateful I was able to be there. Unfortunately, the insurance I had for the cruise doesn’t cover deaths of family members if they are in a nursing home as my dad was. It didn’t matter that his death was unexpected and unrelated to the reason he was in care. Sarah spoke to Royal Caribbean and she was told that they review these situations based on deaths to immediate family members once a death certificate is provided. I honestly wasn’t expecting anything from Royal Caribbean and didn’t feel at all that they were obligated to give us any kind of refund. It was just an awful situation and terrible timing. To my utter shock, Sarah contacted me a couple of days ago to inform me that Royal Caribbean is issuing us a full refund. I couldn’t believe it! During the process, Sarah remained in contact with me with updates and advocated on our behalf. She is just an absolute gem of a human and I also can’t say enough about Royal Caribbean. Obviously we didn’t get to experience their cruise, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t hesitate in booking another cruise with them…hopefully one we will be able to enjoy!! Highly recommend Sarah Rixon at Flight Centre Hastings!! Thank you so much again, Sarah!!

I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough.

Although Flight Centre Hastings is well over 100km away from my residence and there are dozens of Flight Centre branches in between, it was by complete random, I was first put in contact with Sarah, and I have never looked back.

This is the 3rd overseas trip she has organised for us, and that in itself speaks volumes. Her knowledge and professionalism is second to none, but it is the person herself that I cannot fault. She works tirelessly answering every question I send her way, no matter how small and trivial it is, she always responds as if it's the most important question she has ever been asked. Her beautiful and kind nature shines through every conversation, her patience with my total lack of understanding of how things work, her sense of humour, all of these attributes make her a truly wonderful person to deal with and a absolute pleasure to know.

Our friends recently went on an overseas holiday and Sarah organised their trip. They highly recommend we use Sarah for ours. My partner and I recently travelled to America and Canada in December. Sarah organised our entire 4 week trip and worked professionally to ensure our trip was perfect. Although there was a cancellation from our Contiki tour (external organisation) Sarah consistently kept in contact to provide us with the best options possible to ensure our trip was still exactly what we wanted. She was very quick getting back to us and even organised an early return home for us so that we could deal with a family emergency. This was also over the Christmas period, so her dedication and time to allow us to get home in time was so appreciated. I frequently utilise the services of Flight Centre for my air ticketing requirements and I have found them to be quite good in terms of customer service and pricing. However, the customer service that I received from Kirstie Jones was exceptional and much better than what I had received in the past from other friendly Flight Centre consultants.
Kirstie helped me with travel arrangements for December 2021 travel, a just a few weeks after international borders opened. She didn't just organise tickets at a competitive rate, she also provide every bit of help that I required to travel safely especially when there were so many rules and regulations that had to be satisfied and quite frankly made air travel complicated.
While overseas there were further complications with my return ticket as one of the countries shut its borders and I had to be re-routed. Kirstie ensured that it didn't cost me anything more and she organised down to the last detail to ensure my safe travel back home to Australia.
I would strongly commend Kirstie Jones as I found her service to be exceptional and I will definitely go back to her to organise future travel arrangements.
