I paid roughly $900 for both My teenagers to go from Adelaide to Sydney their flight was cancelled that morning and needed to be at Circular Key to board a Cruise Ship Holiday with Me they were taken to Melbourne and Virgin could not help them with a flight so only option was Quantas who charged $3,400 for both My Kids from Melbourne to Sydney Sara who booked our flights said We would be rimbursed one way for the cancellation of Virgin and our over expense from Quantas Ive been trying since December last year to get one way credited all the phone calls Ive made and nothing has been done ?

I have been ringing since December last year for My refund and nothing they even took an extra $25 of Me when booked saying it was compulsory incase need to contact with a problem others who flew same time with. Virgin never paid this store is definitely not the Customer Service it used to be and Sara who I booked with rang Me that morning wen I got of the Ship waiting to board when My Kuds arrived telling Me I would be reimbursed for the cancellation and still nothing disgusting service Ive been advised by many to expose their lies and poor service on TV! ?

EDIT: response to flight centres response.
It doesn't matter if there's a line of people you don't say "well I have to go now I have people waiting". That is appalling and rude. He shouldn't have answered my call if he was busy or advised nicely "we are currently busy is there any chance I can give you a call back". There's no excuse for this.

Extremely disappointed. I called today asking for some help regarding a refund. Our travel consultant is currently on annual leave and prior to going she advised us the refund had been processed. Days later we still haven't received it (not her fault). I call them at 2:07pm and spoken to a incredibly rude man. He told me that my partner would've received an email regarding a form - this was never advised to us. My partner had no such email. In fact we've received other refunds and have never had to fill out a form. He was rude toned and told me "well I've got customers here that I need to serve so i need to go". He also said "Well it will be there you always have to fill out a form". He was very arrogant, rude and unfortunately my patience was thin and I blew up. I became very angry as I was treated with such disrespect. I apologise for that. However I'll never be booking a holiday with you guys again. This store anyway. Amongst all these bad reviews regarding customer service flight centre you need to fire many people at this Elizabeth store.

Super helpful staff an variety of packages hotel accommodation an flights an then information on what is in Vietnam a guide of things to see an know they're just great, every aspect they have covered thank you guys! Had awesome holiday! (Late review - this is before covid) Still loved it id of gone an travelled Australia if it I'd known our country would've been in the debt its now in I'd of holiday'd here in beautiful Australian.

Avoid this place, absolutely incompetent so called travel experts, happy to take your money but very little communication from them after that, Stacey obviously had no idea what she was doing … booked a flight for two ( couple) then arrive at airport to be told everything from the travel agency had been filled in incorrectly after the assistance from the airport administrator we were finally able to board the plane ; not sitting together and no window seat as requested at time of booking and payment, the mistakes made by Stacey almost made us unable to board the plane.. there won’t be a next time with this travel agency .

EDIT - If my review doesn’t make it clear how dismissal their customer care is, take a look at their response to my review.
Where do I start? I was utterly disappointed in my experience while booking my Disney cruise.
- I was given an hour to pay the deposit after 4pm to 5pm. When I raised this I was told that my booking was one of 50 so they did the best they could. That wasn’t an appropriate length of time.
- I provided information for myself and two other families I was travelling with. We were all given varied payment dates and deposit times.
- I was asked to provide the names and info of the families going instead of them in order for the deposits to be paid to Disney.
- I had to ask for my Disney Cruise login, it wasn’t provide during the deposit process nor was the option to prepay gratuities.
- I was told that someone would be appointed to me to handle my booking as Amanda Costello would be on maternity leave (which is understandable.) I did come in and see Louise who offered to assist me, but I was later told that it’d need to be a Disney agent, I still to this day have no idea who handled my booking. The emails I received changed several times.
- I had to contact Disney to get them to correct the spelling of my husband‘s name and my correct surname as both were incorrectly written by Flight Centre.
- We were told it would be preferable to pay for the remaining deposit before Amanda went on maternity leave in July, keeping in mind the final payment was recorded in the initial quote as being due in January!
- On the 21st of July, we were then told that we had till October to pay the remaining balance, a far cry from January we had had in our initial quote.
- Nobody in my party received any further communication which they blamed on ”not getting responses, having their emails“ etc. Which is hilarious given that I provided during the initial waitlist period. I had to act as advocate for my extended family and inform them of what was happening.
- I received a message that Louise was now taking care of my booking even though I was told earlier she wasn’t able to and ironically yet I received no communication from her.
- what I received from Nicole was very basic information that was easily accessible on the internet and Disney’s website.
- I received my luggage tags and info from Disney Cruise Line via signed FedEx delivery that I was never informed would happen. Others in my party did not receive anything either.
- We were told several times that our reservations were linked however while onboard we were on separate tables for dinner. When we went to Guest Services we were told our bookings were never linked by Flight Centre.
So all in, I had an amazing holiday through no help of Flight Centre and I would highly encourage you to plan your holidays elsewhere with a team that value their customers and are proactive in their approach. Thank you for showing me I’m much more capable of orchestrating a holiday for my friends and family I think I may do just that in future.
