I just booked with Abby for my first overseas trip! She was the most phenomenal help, giving me amazing deals and being so supportive along the way. Opportunistic price gouging! Saved total $2000 booking the same flight myself at home.

Quoted me 5.6k (2.8k ea) for 2 last minute return flights to Tokyo. When I decided I wanted to book it, she raised the price to 6.6k (3.3k), stating that the lower price was no longer available. I believe this was to make more commission on the flight after sensing my urgency (booking for 2 days in advance).

I thought this was unusual so I checked both the Qantas and Flight centre websites which still showed the 2.8k price point. When I showed this to her, she said it was likely a different flight. It was the exact same flight (same flight no. & departure)! She had a pretty passive aggressive, foul attitude when I showed her the proof on the Flight Centre and Qantas website.

I was ready to book the 2.8k flight however due to the unreasonable $500 increase per ticket, I went home to book myself at the cheaper price point that she said was no longer available.

I ended up booking the exact same return flight tickets through Qantas for 2.3k! $1000 less than what she tried to sell to me!

Was pretty upset with the service, which seems inconsistent with the other reviews here - not sure why my experience contrasts so greatly against the others.
