My partner and I came here for a night out, and to say that the food and service was amazing is an understatement. I am not sure what the other reviewers have said, but I get the sense that some people expect service staff to be at their beck and call (which is clearly not the ordinary course of things). The staff were excellent, both attentive and knowledgable. Executive Chef Poulard's menu is fantastic, where he simply lets the food speak for itself. We went for dinner, but I suspect on a nice and warm sunny day, sitting on the deck overlooking Manly will be a great experience. Can't wait to go back with the kids.

The wood fired bread and smaller tasting plates are very delicious. Dessert was bomb.

Service. Lacking. You have to ask for water and work hard to get attention to order a drink.

We ordered 2 different bottles of wine out of their small selection, and neither was refrigerated.

Our main dishes came out before we were given fresh plates, so went a bit cold.

Raised the cold food and got treated to a complimentary round of drinks.

Love the remodel, however, very loud acoustics, it's hard to talk across a table of 6.

Overall, food was great but for the premium vibe it's going for it needs some work on service. Would give it another chance again once they have worked through the opening kinks.

food was great and generous portions for the price! leah was an amazing server and even accommodated for us when we asked to change tables, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. highlights were the fish tacos and the watermelon collins- delicious!

We came here for lunch, when you have seafood platers els where for the same price which is triple the size I wouldn’t bother coming here! Really small serving and very over priced. Here some photos of the differences

The vibe is nice and I always want to see new businesses thrive but 140 dollars for a seafood platter which consisted of 6 prawns, 6 oysters, 3 scallops, 3 sashimi type salads, bread and dip? Did the chefs go and catch the crustaceans themselves? or was the vinaigrette dressing imported from the finest restaurants in France? - I literally don't know what I paid for. Cocktails are also 20 dollars a pop. I enjoy places where I get value for the money I spend - bar tropic was not for me.

We came for a last minute lunch and
ocean view before flying back to Melbourne. James our waiter was simply outstanding, incredible service and the food was amazing. The snapper was a standout & the pumpkin hummus & spiced bread. Those views, music & a glass of bubbles, what a brilliant way to end our 3 night getaway. We will definitely be back again, this place is beautiful & food matches the vibe.
