Today was our second visit to the Fed showroom, I want to thank Darryl for the hospitality and for also providing the extra help he showed us today. If you want to ruin your business, go and buy from this supplier. I have never experience such bad, insensitive, irresponsible company until I came across Federal. First they provide you substandard, cheap quality products and then never take the responsibility to repair or replace them. From receptionist to upper management, no one listens to you. No matter if you are begging or whatever, they will behave pathetic.

Amazing showroom and great staff but procedure means that you can’t collect items listed on the website stating in stock on the same day. Wasted trip if you only have a day. Arrived around 1pm & warehouse closes at 3pm, so suggest coming at opening if want the products on the same day.

I purchased a brand new FED freezer on March 1st 2021 for our business in South Australia and got to our Cellar Door and it did not work. I rang tech support and followed their instructions and they said i need a tech out to fix it. FED would not send a tech out to a brand new customer with a brand new freezer that did not work from the start unless i signed an agreement with a whole range of exclusions that said i could be charged for (on the brand new 3 hour old freezer). I completely disagreed to sign this given the unit was 3 hours old, i had spent $2600 on it and their own tech support said i needed a tech out to fix this. The customer service of this place from my experience is absolutely pathetic, and i will never purchase another one of FED equipment again. As a customer you should not be held to ransom to sign a form that you completely disagree with on a brand new piece of equipment that does not work from the first moment to be able to get it fixed! The only way a tech eventually came out 30 hours later was because the catering supply company i purchased this from ( Who are great people) took on the responsibility of signing these forms to ensure it was resolved for me. FED should have done that. On top of this, there was screws holding down the condenser missing (which the tech fixed), as well as a bolt on the compressor loose, which still is loose as the tech who came out said it must have been crossed threaded from the factory as the captive nut just spins. In my experience, this company does not deserve 1 star, and the customer service does not either. From my experience i would Proceed with absolute caution, or even better, go somewhere else. i will update my review if anything changes to be fair to everyone.

Worst customer service. Ordered a brand new commercial kitchen mixer. (It needs to be mounted to the wall) No wall mount was provided. After mixed responses from numerous staff - they now are just refusing to help in any way. Never purchasing any products of theirs again.
