Outstanding Support and Service – Truly Life-Saving

We've been loyal customers of Fast Cover Travel Insurance for many years, always impressed by their fair pricing and reliability. However, it wasn't until a serious accident involving my husband in Athens—on the eve of our scheduled departure home—that we truly experienced the full value of their exceptional service.

What began as a 4-week summer holiday in Greece turned into a 3-month extended stay due to the accident. Throughout this incredibly stressful and unexpected situation, the Fast Cover Emergency Assistance team proved to be absolutely invaluable. They were available 24/7, always helpful, compassionate, and quick to act—providing continuous support and guidance with both medical and travel arrangements. Despite the time zone difference, they consistently answered calls and responded to emails promptly and professionally.

Equally impressive was the claims department, who worked seamlessly with the emergency team so I never had to repeat details. They were not only efficient and thorough but also genuinely caring, making a complex and emotionally difficult process feel remarkably smooth and stress-free.

To add contrast, my 90-year-old father—who was insured with another company, Allianz—received a far inferior experience. It took two weeks just to get a response from them, and each contact seemed more focused on upselling than helping with our emergency.

Fast Cover's service went far beyond expectations. In a time of crisis, they offered peace of mind, practical help, and true human care. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

could not recommend highly enough!!!!! my partner and I had a snowboarding accident which required surgery, and Fast Cover have been nothing short of amazing. we didn’t even have a phone number while we were overseas and they organised to call us on WhatsApp and help with medical advice, answering all of our questions, and after that were so quick to reply to our emails at any hour of the day. we got refunded for all the activities we had booked and then couldn’t attend, and even booked us new/upgraded flights to accommodate to our needs. We got all the money back in less than 2 weeks after submitting the claim, and are providing loss of income payments as well. I cannot fault our experience with Fast Cover at all, I will be recommending them to everyone from now on 🙏

My experience with Fastcover when having to cancel a trip because of an injury was excellent. Phone calls were answered promptly with helpful information and my application for reimbursement was approved very quickly. The full amount of my refund was in my account a few days after I posted the form. I can’t thank them enough for their understanding, promptness and efficiency

My son had a bad fall while in Bali and had to have surgery. This happened 30 mins before our insurance ran out. The Fast Cover emergency team was so friendly and seemed genuinely concerned and wanted to help.
The claims process was straight forward, and they refunded us for all the medical costs ($4.5k), as well as the day stay hotel and the international transaction costs.
I'll definitely be using Fast Cover in the future.

Friendly staff and I would have given 4 star for customer service but the red tape is endless. Request for documents after documents which did not seem reasonable or practical. At the time of review, I have submitted the claim a month already and I am still having requests for more documents. This is still ongoing at the time of review.

I am 84 years old but still very much involved in my profession, extremely healthy and active and travel extensively, lecturing in various countries. At this age Insurance is prohibitively expensive and In March 2023 I took out a 12 month multi-country Policy with Fast Cover and it worked well. It had expired, I wanted to renew but was told I had to take out a new Policy. This one was for July 2024 for a trip to Malaysia, Romania and Europe and I assumed it was the same 12 month Policy I had before. The premium was in excess of $1200.00, which was slightly less than the previous one, but I thought it was because I was not going to the US. I am planning another trip to Dubai and Vietnam in February and March and called to find out if those countries were included. Imagine my surprise when I was told that I had actually only taken out a one month Policy and that it has obviously expired. I was NOT HAPPY, as $1200.00 for 3 weeks was more than the cost of the air fare. Fast Cover were amazing. They understood that I had expected to get the same cover as previously, and went out of their way to right the situation. I have dealt with many Insurance Companies and they are my least favourite businesses. This was such a different experience - I will certainly use them for upcoming trips. Thank you Fast Cover for being courteous, very responsive and understanding.

Fast Cover is genuinely the best insurance company I have ever dealt with. I got food poisoning at Gorak Shep, the village before Everest Base Camp. I had to be heli evacced and sent to hospital in Nepal for a night. Everything was sorted for me. I didn't have to pay a cent. Another girl on my trip had to get heli evacced too and she had to pay everything up front and chase down her insurance company for refunds.
I will never use another travel insurance company as long as I am travelling. Fast Cover are the gold standard of travel insurance. They will look after you and make it easy and are worth every cent. I highly recommend Fast Cover and won't ever be gambling with another insurance company.
