This is the best fishing charter we have been on for outcome and enjoyment. My husband and I spent 4 amazing days out with Kayden. He is a brilliant guide who is extremely knowledgeable and an all round good guy. We were put on the fish constantly and got fantastic hauls each day! Do not go with any other fishing charter whilst in Weipa.

I was talking about Kurt Gane (owner of Far North Fishing - Weipa).
I really wanted to add to my previous review from a couple of years ago, so I have edited it and you can see the update below:

I have just returned from Weipa (yet again) after another successful charter with Far North Fishing!
Every year I go back, I am just blown away by the service we receive from the moment we arrive until the moment we step back on the plane. This year I took a group of six good friends up and we had the privilege of being guided by both Kaidyn and Baiden. These young lads really know their stuff and are such a pleasure to be around... a great operation, fronted by two fantastic guides!

The accommodation and service, particularly from what seemed to be our very own private chef (Sean) was world class and really added to our overall experience! Exceptional food, service and hospitality!

We cannot recommend Far North Fishing highly enough and we have already re-booked for the same time next year!

Kurt is an excellent guide who is happy to cater for what fish you want to target. His knowledge of the area at times to fish in unmatched in Weipa. One most enjoyable part of the experience was how excited he got when people were catching fish and the general laughs all round. Far North Fishing Weipa are the only guides to use!
