Live music was pumping (maybe a little too loudly).
Food was delicious. Staff came to our table and asked if we'd like a refil our beer as we were empty. This was a pleasant surprise. Staff friendly and helpful.

I had the garlic prawns for lunch today which I had to send back because they were so raw. After a second cook they were still mostly raw so I had to scab a few chips off my friend for lunch. So disappointed as the rest of the meals were top notch. The steak was perfect I was told. Group of 12.

Dropped in on a trip to Toowoomba, another lovely pub, for good food at great prices and really cold beer with great service from all the staff.

The place was absolutely pumping when we arrived with live music and plenty of locals enjoying the atmosphere. Love the open deck area. We dropped by for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. They have a large pizza oven and have an array of authentic pub grub to choose from. Very reasonably priced and they offer 10 lunches for $10 during the week. Plenty of off street parking and a bottle shop as well. Will visit again maybe for lunch.

Always welcoming atmosphere, very chilled, relaxed hotel. Gaming room is generally busy with a good variety of machines however it could be staffed better. I have not eaten here personally but bistro always seems busy.

Foods great, good staff manners, great service BUT the smoking area is right next to the food area, it's horrible. Feel like you having a cigarette with your meal. If you have weak lungs, sensitive nose, or just hate the smell of smoke, WOULDNT Recommend at all!!!

We love coming here the food is amazing and well priced.
I came back yesterday 25/08 and had the parmy with brie and hollandaise. My salad was dry had no salad dressing. Our garlic bread was OK. Highlight of dinner was the lovely guy at the bar who serviced us. Won't be coming back for food, it was terrible. When servicing food maybe talk to ya customers instead of dumping and leaving. We brought our plates back to counter, NO customer service. Not even a thank you.

I really like the setting inside the Cecil Hotel. I love the decor, with the classic seating, as you can see in some of my photos. I also find the staff very friendly, polite, and helpful. In addition, I find the food there very delicious, and at a very reasonable price: especially for their special deals, such as half price steaks on Saturday nights. Being a lover of playing pool, it is also great to have the pool tables. I would certainly recommend going there to check it out.
