Falcon's Fire Golf Course - Kissimmee, Florida

Went to Falcon’s Fire on New Year’s Day. The driving range was good, as were the practice greens. Some of the staff were nice, some were absolute hot garbage. Even though I paid to play the course with my 15-year-old son, my shoulder didn’t feel right after hitting some on the driving range, so I decided not to play and just drive him around the course while he played. Upon approaching the first tee, the older man who served as the starter ordered me back to the pro shop because i didn’t have a golf bag (my son did). I told the guy that even though I paid to play, I wasn’t playing. Despite that, he yelled at me and told me I had to have a bag. I argued with him for a few minutes, but I went back to the pro shop and told the manager/pro/whatever he was what the situation was. He first tried to get me to pay a bag rental fee, and when I refused, a “walker fee.” I told him I actually paid to play 18 holes even though I’m not actually playing and that I was not going to pay another penny at this point because my green fee was actually significantly more than the “walker fee.” Nevertheless, the manager/pro/whatever told me that I had to have a bag because “other people will complain that there are two people in a cart with one bag.” I advised the guy that other people complaining was not my issue. He eventually relented and my son and I went back to the first tee. The older man yelled at me again, ordering me back to the pro shop, but I just ignored him and drove by him as fast as I could. Because of all of this, my son only played 9 holes when we paid for 18. I wasn’t too upset about only playing 9 holes that the course is not very well maintained. The greens were terrible (one green had mold visibly growing on it!), the fairways were rough and the rough was the worst I’d ever seen. It was a terrible experience.

My overall impression was that some of the employees were looking to make a quick buck or two. Customer service was simply a fail. I probably won’t be back.

I showed up slightly late for my tee time and the golf staff was unbelievably accommodating not only to get me out but to catch me up to my group on the second tee, but they were very reasonable with a mistake that I had with the online booking agency. The manager at the office worked it out to accommodate again another difficult situation. For that, along with the beautiful fast greens, plush green grass and abnormally good conditions for winter I'm giving this five stars! I recommend you making a detour if you're a dad on a trip to Disney or any of the other ridiculously lined parks with major que times to take some time for yourself and come to this golf course for some fun.

My, now husband, and I absolutely loved our wedding reception experience at Falcon's Fire Golf Club. Mary was a pleasure to work with. We initially chose Falcon's Fire due to the quality and beauty of the venue, paired with a very affordable price (which can be very hard to find these days!). Though, now that the wedding is all said and done, we are so incredibly grateful to have chosen such a wonderful venue. In addition to the affordability and beauty of the venue, Mary and her team did an incredible job. Our pasta bar, catered by the restaurant at Falcon's Fire was delicious.
It was truly the perfect day!
Also- special and much louder shout out to Mary. The week of the wedding Mary notified us of a slight change that needed to take place due to updated guidelines set by the golf course (which were, understandably, beyond her control). When I stopped by the venue to walk the changes with Mary, I was pleased to learn that Mary had already thought through a wonderful contingency plan that not only met, but exceeded our expectations, keeping what we wanted for our special day as a priority. It is easy to rate a business with 5 stars when things go perfectly, but for a business to uphold 5 stars (honestly, I would say they exceeded 5 stars) when needing to pivot and problem solve in a pinch, that (in my opinion) speaks greater volumes to the service and quality of a business and its events coordinator.

Thank you, Mary. We reflect fondly on our wedding and are happy that you and Falcon's Fire were able to be such a huge part of our day.

They have a great golf course to play 18 roles. The golf carts are in good condition and there is a very good store inside for shopping golf stuff.

READ THIS! I am a six handicap and my daughter plays D1 Golf at Western Illinois University. We played this course On Friday July 5th. I thought there was no way that two or three golfers can leave horrible reviews and then two or three golfers can leave five stars so I took a chance on the course because of its reputation. Shame on me! When you pull into this golf course you get a sense that the property is really amazing. The practice screen was beautiful but a little slow. The driving range is excellent and that’s where the good ends. This course is horrific. Please listen to this because if you spend $75 to play this course, you will be furious! If they gave me two free rounds I would not go back. It is horrible beyond horrible. The superintendent should be fired immediately. They make excuses when you’re done golfing, And say things like “yes, we have not had any rain”. But that is not the problem. The problem is their superintendent has no idea what he’s doing, and the golf course probably gives him no money to spend. They do not water this course, they do not fertilize this course and they do not care for it. The greens are so over seeded and overgrown that I thought they were bentgrass! Not only are the fairways horrible, but there were holes in the middle of the green so that you have to move your ball several feet to avoid. There are hazards next to the greens that are so horrible that you can actually get seriously injured on. Please see the photo. This course should be closed. It is horrifically bad! And any good review you have read about this courses is fake I don’t care if it says “verified purchase” or not. This course is horrendous! There are weeds in the middle of some of the green greens. There is no grass in major portions of the fairways and next to many of the greens. Courses in the near vicinity that I would recommend. Celebration golf club is fantastic! Orange County national was also excellent! And of course, any of the Disney courses. If you want to travel a little outside Orlando and save some money but play a beautiful course, You can play blackbear, or royal St. Cloud. Both of those blue this piece of garbage golf course out of the water and they only cost $55 to play. I’m trying to do you a favor, but if you want to listen to the lying reviews, then throw your money away. This is garbage garbage garbage, And it would take five years to get it back in shape.

The staff was nice. The course has a nice layout and is wide open. It's a good tourist course. Rental clubs are decent (callaway rogue irons, paradym driver, and odyssey putter). Greens need some work, but the overall condition was pretty good. Got paired with a member with zero golf etiquette. It's decent but there are many better options in the orlando area if you're on vacation

The Venue:
I am a wedding coordinator and I had the privilege of working with Mary to make a bride and grooms wedding a dream. Mary worked with me and the clients to make sure that everything they needed was there and things went off without any issues. The staff was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend using Falcon's Fire for any event. It is cost effective and very nice. I will be referring other clients to them in the future!

The Restaurant:
The best ? wings are here. Do the dry rub, you'll thank me. But that peach crown and lemonade was amazing ?. I think there's golf ⛳️ but I don't do that so... if you're partner does and you don't, hang in the clubhouse.
