The Getaway 3D/3N tour was amazing! We saw turtles, dolphins and stingray, others snorkelled the reef but that was not my thing. We visited a number of beaches and lookouts and saw stunning views. We were predicted rain and had a little but this did not spoil the experience. Our Captain (Andreous) knowledge of the area helped us find the best spots. We had a great sleeping experience in our private cabin with en suite bathroom. The food was also exceptional and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and portions given - thankyou Phoebe. Andreous and Phoebe were amazing hosts and we can’t thank them enough for an awesome experience. 10/10 would do again and highly recommend the experience.

An unforgettable sailing experience!
Our 3-day cruise on the Solway Lass was simply magical. The ship itself is full of character and history, which made the adventure feel truly unique. Waking up to the sunrise on the ocean, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, watching the stars from the deck at night — it was like stepping into a dream.

But beyond the beauty and serenity, it was also non-stop fun! We jumped off the ship using the swing rope, floated around in an ocean pool, tried paddleboarding, and laughed endlessly with the crew and other guests. Every day brought new adventures and so much energy.

The crew was absolutely fantastic: friendly, professional, and always making sure everyone was having the best time. The food exceeded all expectations, and the vibe on board was relaxed, open, and full of good vibes. We met amazing people from all over the world.

This wasn’t just a tour, it was a real experience. If you’re looking for something authentic, beautiful, and filled with soul (and a good dose of fun!), the Solway Lass is it.

The Solway Lass was an unbelievable experience. The boat had bunks for everyone and it was so cool to be on a piece of history. The crew was friendly and served us better than expected food. You cannot beat the whitsunday views. Hoping to go again very soon!

Do yourselves a big favour and avoid booking the Siska boat!!

It's an old shitty hostel on water with no comfortable seating area. The hygiene was awful here, I did not expect luxury but I did not expect moldy bedding, dirty bathrooms, no airflow in the sleeping area and such a small and cramped space either. The boat was rocking much more than others i.e not as stable so a lot of us had trouble sleeping. It's a racing boat, not made for tourist trips.

The crew did it's best to lift spirits and give us a fun time but they have to improve their skills such as communication and the food which is too basic and not healthy (pasta every day, no dressing for salads, plain bread; these were 5AUD meals at most, you could invest a bit more for the steep price we pay).

The boat also broke down and we had to get towed back to the harbour. The bad weather was the least of our worries here which we know is out of their control.

You also have to pay 10AUD extra for luggage storage, 15AUD for vegetarians etc.

I heard the catamarans at other companies are better so do your research!!

This experience was something I will never forget. Shout out to the crew Alex, Arni, Odin, Meg, Carmen, Jono and the lovely French girl I can’t remember her name, thank you all for making this trip so memorable and special. From the bottom of my heart I appreciate each of you and for making this so magical . Where do I begin, food was absolutely amazing, accommodation was spacious and clean, the boat (solway lass) was MAGICAL. Rope swing, little swimming pool, paddle boards, a front net in which you could sit/ sleep in if you wanted, and so much more was included. We did 3 snorkels and I think 2-3 trail walks which were the best of the best. The only complaint I would have would be captain Anderson (the ghost of the boat) kept sneaking up behind me and absolutely ripping ass ;)) ahaha. Thanks again team and if anyone’s debating on doing this don’t hesitate and book this tour!!! 🤟🏼

George, Ronan & Kane are legends, cool people to be on the boat with and made the Whitsundays memorable. They cooked food and accommodated towards everyone’s needs really well. Had a great time - would recommend.

I went on the Solway Lass for 3 days! It was the best experience! Such a fantastic crew and such an awesome old pirate ship with so much history and personality. We went snorkeling and on walks- lots of swimming and games.
Met heaps of awesome people on this trip! The food was great too!

We saw whales and turtles! Lots of stingrays and reef sharks too. The rope swing was AWESOME!!!

I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the Witsundays with a great group of people and an awesome historic boat!

The Getaway 3D/3N tour was amazing! We snorkeled with turtles, saw dolphins at sunrise while drinking our morning coffee and relaxed under the stars before having a great sleeping experience in our private cabin with en suite bathroom. The food was also exceptional and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and portions given we were on a sail boat. Angelina and Connor were amazing hosts and we can’t thank them enough for an awesome experience. 10/10 would do again and highly recommend the experience.
