Terrible. Unprofessional, passive aggressive and greedy. Wendy the owner at Executive Retreats managed my property for one year. In which time, payments were late, communication sparse and my property was poorly kept. When I questioned the state of my house which had a filthy oven, no toilet paper and dirty floors, all after I was told the cleaners had come and PAID for, she threatened me to go and get new cleaners then! Whilst I was OS! A friend who inspected the property as I was concerned ended up cleaning it for me. Also Wendy, take down my photos of SHAMBHALA, as it has been sold over 9 months ago as is a private home.

We recently stayed a few nights at Newell Sunrise with Executive Retreats, which was most welcome after five busy days and nights in Port Douglas. Newell Sunrise was a lovely place to wind down, take daily walks on the beach, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. In a great location, this spacious apartment has everything you need for your stay and comfy bed. Wendy was super helpful with tours and trips etc. Wendy also recommended we go to Mossman for dinner on the Friday night of our stay to Hughie's Wine Bar, only a 5-minute drive, and it is a MUST! The wine and food were amazing. I highly recommend staying with Executive Retreats, see you again soon.

We, a family of five, stayed at the Great Barrier Reef Beach House in Wonga during a longer trip thru Asia-Pacific. We travel a lot as a family and have a wealth of experience in various type of properties, from hotels to vacation homes.
The property is managed by Executive Retreats, Port Douglas. The entire process until arrival at the property was very professional and provided comfort that this is going to be a good stay. After arrival this turned into a nightmare.
Unfortunately, the property is in a worn state and desperately needs heavy renovation. The pictures on the website of Executive Retreats do not reflect the current state of the property. Having old/worn out furniture is one thing, but heavy mold is another. Over the first night, one of our kids developed a hefty allergic reaction to the mold. Hence, we had to leave. Putting a lot of stress on the family, finding an alternative accommodation etc.
We informed Executive Retreats and since then, trying to get at least some of the money back. But Executive Retreats does not show any kind of understanding nor willingness to refund at least some of the money. According to them, it was our fault that we left and we should have asked for additional cleaning (on a Sunday?). As parents we had no chance but to leave given the condition of one of our kids, besides the mold and dirt was not going to fixed in a day with a simple clean. This was not accepted by Executive Retreats who are constantly revering to their General Terms and Conditions, unfortunately these terms do not include to provide a property as advertised, so we lost all our money.
Utterly poor service, besides old, dirty and mold-infested housing. Not recommended.

This is the second time we have stayed at Harmony House and have enjoyed it very much both times. The location is quiet and peaceful - the views out over the golf course to the hills in the late afternoon are fantastic. Its a large and comfortable house offering easy living and walking access to the beach. While not close to town, the advantage is that it is a quiet place to be. The four bedrooms and 2 bathrooms offer plenty of accommodation for a couple of families or one large one. The kitchen is well stocked. A good choice and very good value for money.

Had an amazing experience with Executive Retreats, who made our much needed holiday better than we anticipated. You had no availability for our entire 2 weeks but suggested splitting our holiday between the Beach Villa at Newell and Mali Mali. A beach front villa on an almost untouched beach and then a rainforest retreat with insane views of the ocean and mountains - both allowing my beautiful pups to come along! Thanks for the great communication and quick assistance when needed Executive Retreats, especially when I couldn’t figure out using the oven, we will certainly be back 🙂

I recently enjoyed a week at Mali Mali with my wife and 3 children. It was a wonderful experience and we had a truly lovely stay. The house was well presented and an accurate reflection of the photos and description. The team at Executive Retreats were on hand to assist as required and the process was completed seamless. The pool and view was magnificent and the house was well appointed. The tennis court was well maintained and the surroundings were the ultimate in peace and tranquility. We truly had a wonderful time and will be back! Thank you for a lovely stay!

This was the most amazing holiday! We absolutely loved our Sea Temple Apartment which was furnished beautifully, well maintained and very well equipped with everything we needed. The location within the resort was also prefect. We would love to return again one day and can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you to Wendy and her team for your help with our booking.

Our stay at Beach Break 2 was incredible! Possibly one of the most stylish apartments in Port Douglas, it is light and spacious and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The bathroom has a double basin with fabulous lights for makeup. The bed was so comfortable and we had a restful nights sleep. The kitchen has all you need, including a Nespresso machine and ice maker in the refrigerator.
The location is amazing, a very short walk to the pool and barbeque area and about 50 metres from the beach. You can park your car here and walk everywhere in Port Douglas as it is also a very short walk to the main street, Macrossan St. We enjoyed our mornings having coffee on the terrace overlooking the beautiful tropical garden.
I cannot recommend Beach Break 2 enough and can highly recommend! Our travelling companions stayed in Beach Break 1 and their apartment was also gorgeous. It was so great to be able to stay close by with friends, with all the privacy and comfort you could ever need. We can't wait to return sometime again soon!
