I went on the 6 week exchange program to Italy not just once but twice and it was amazing! I cannot thank all of the people who were a part of my experience enough. Those trips were definitely adventures that I will remember and cherish for the rest of my life.
I would highly recommend Exchange Me to any students wanting to travel and experience something new and a little out of the ordinary of every day life at home. It is a trip they will never forget!

My daughter has very recently returned from an Exchange Me six week Language Immersion to Germany.
Initially I was not altogether comfortable the proposition of allowing my daughter to travel to Germany, in my mind alone, with a group of strangers, to live with people on the other side of the world we had never met and whose language we did not speak.
After researching the Exchange Me website and talking with Carina on the phone, I became more comfortable with the idea. After meeting with the Exchange Me team, the other students and their parents and the pre departure dinner I was absolutely convinced that this was an activity that would allow my daughter the opportunity to develop her German conversational skills far in advance of any other activity I could possibly provide.
There was a minor issue with flights and connections on the departure day due to the airline having difficulty in maintaining flight timings. Carina quickly resolved the issues with the airline and secured the best outcome allowing the group to continue with their planned departure. Her calm and professional demeanour. From this event we knew our daughter was in safe and capable hands.
While six weeks seems to be a long time away, particularly over the Christmas season, the regular contact and constant good news stories and happy vision of our daughter developing her language skills and maturing as a young lady made the absence fly. The opportunity for a White Christmas added to the excitement for her.
Our daughter was perfectly matched to her host family of Mum and Dad and three daughters. The host family was magnificent in accepting our daughter into their family and provided her with all the care and attention you would want for your child. The host school was very welcoming and the host children made every effort to include and encourage our children in all activities both formal and informal. I know our daughter has made good friendships both here in Australia and in Germany and they are communicating regularly.
The tours to other areas within Germany were well conducted and professionally supported by tour guides. These trips were a great opportunity to see Germany more broadly.
I cannot recommend too strongly the benefits of this tour. If the opportunity to send our daughter on a subsequent tour arose I would not hesitate at all in securing her a place on the tour.
We are now planning to host our daughter’s host sister on a reciprocal tour later this year and look forward to providing her with the same experience so wonderfully provided to our daughter.
Thank you to Carina, Laura and Vicki, your organisation if first class in all aspects. Thank you for providing my daughter with the adventure of a lifetime.

Our family would like to let every person or organization that are thinking of wanting to experience a cultural immersion / School Exchange in Europe to put their total trust in Exchange Me. Their profound knowledge through experience, of the different aspects of travelling in Italy to achieve a holistic cultural experience is second to none. Meticulous care was taken with the welfare of the children. Our daughter’s host sister was perfect and a happy friendship was forged in the 11 days she spent in Gualdo Tadino. Her host family cared for her beautifully taking her to a Circus at night and the annual festival of Saint Michele Arcangelo and Donkey Palio in Gualdo Tadino. The hotels we stayed in were amazing! Clean and comfortable. Food Incredible. Transfers and transport throughout Italy for our group were well organised and efficient. The sites visited in Italy were wonderful and well-co-ordinated to get the most out of visiting.

We would highly recommend Exchange ME to everyone!

A school trip organised with Exchange Me to Europe had to be cancelled due to covid. This company still charged families over $2000 for cancellation that no one could foresee or control. Exchange Me kept over $70000 as cancellation fees from families during a pandemic. Just unforgivable. I do not recommend using this company.
