Nicky is great! She created beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding. The bouquets were incredible, all of the flowers were healthy, and the bunches together looked really balanced. She clearly listened to and supported our visions- reflecting down to tiny details (e.g., the inclusion of specific flowers to represent specific people that are important to us). She also made some wonderful floral table garlands for our farm tables, and a stunning ceremony arc. Nicky has so much expertise in event planning, and we are thankful for her guidance and commitment to brainstorming ideas about the overall success of the event. How to write a review worthy of the value Nicky adds to your wedding planning? First, you should know we are both in the medical field (a nurse and a doctor) we were both in our last year of school in two different countries, so you can imagine the challenge planning a wedding in Miami imposed. But Nicky made it all happen: she listened to the style of support we wanted and allowed us to grow from this experience as a couple by letting us navigate planning our own way. She scheduled all the in-person appointments when the bride was in town (which was only once due to the pandemic) and made wedding planning not only easier but also more fun. You will still have to do a lot of the work yourself unless you are explicit with her from the get go and choose a different package. She has a high volume of events so a lot of weekends during wedding season she will be running around helping with other events and those moments sometimes felt overwhelming. But you do not overall feel abandoned because she will stay up late at night to make up for those times and meet at irregular work hours. Towards the end, we felt like we had too much on our plate and that she wasn’t being as proactive as the beginning, all 3 of us bad a meeting and she adjusted her support and reached out to an even wider list of vendors to see how best to make our vision happen. She keeps it real, she negotiates the best deals when possible and, more importantly, she LISTENS to you, your fears and your wants and does her best to be there for you. On the day of the wedding, she is the one that helped me put on my dress and lowered my veil right before walking down the aisle, not because my Mom was not present but because weddings get hectic and when something seems to have fallen into a crack, she’s right besides you to hold you up. And can we talk about the decor, the florals and the endless compliments we received from guests regarding her professionalism and savoir-faire? So the only thing left to say is that we hope our honesty will serve many more couples to choose the best wedding planner there is…and thank you. To our dear Nicky, THANK YOU. For the pearl that you are in this complex industry.
