Wedding week from hell and the biggest memory I have of my wedding is how mistreated we were by Event Avenue and Joe and Gabbi. The weather brought down the "Robust" stretch tent not even a day after setup and with less than 24 hrs to the wedding the tent was on the ground with no solution or options from Event Avenue. Was promised the option of a partial refund after as we were deciding to change venues last minute. Then a week after the wedding all discussion of a refund was immediately shut down and excuses flowed.

The response from Joe was apathetic to say the least with offensive attempts to hide his lack of willingness to engage in a reasonable discussion about the events that unfolded. Placed blame on us rather than accepting or acknowledging any wrong doing on there part.

We spent almost $7000 and had use of tables and lanterns at the end of the day. We scraped and saved almost 10% of our annual income for this hire as I fell in love with the style of the tent and the dream they sold me. Devastatingly so my dream of being married on my family farm ended in disaster that was then set alight and rubbed in by the disregard Joe and Gabbi from Event Avenue had for us.

So disappointed.

Event Avenue are the incredible! Planning a wedding from Singapore in Tasmania with only a few months to get organised is no easy feat but they managed and absolutely blew us away. Every detail was thought of for us, we honestly didn’t need to think about or do a thing. From the furniture to the glassware and the stunning flowers everything was of the highest quality and was STUNNING! Overnight our garden was transformed for our reception. Gabbi, Melinda & Joe were a dream to work with and I wouldn't hesitate in working with them again. Thanks so much team!
