The hosts at the equinox sun resort were amazing!! Creating an easy booking and checking in experience as well as offering many amenities such as a pool, sauna, games room, and gym! The resort was a short 15 minute walk from the hub of surfers paradise and boasted incredible views of the city and ocean!!

A wonderful place to stay. Our apartment was a corner one and we could see the ocean, the city and the river ! Room was clean and comfortable, great bed! Lovely staff. Michaela was excellent! Yes, lifts are slow and hot, but have experienced that in other places on the Goldie during this holiday so I'm thinking they aren't a priority. For that small downside, the place is fantastic! Pool, spa, sauna, gym.. Divine views we spent a lot of time staring at.. across the road from patrolled beach, close to everything you need in town.. What more could you want? Well priced too. Highly recommend for the price.

Considering the price of this place your probably much better off going with somewhere like Chateau Beachside as it's cheaper, facilities are better, view is almost as good, and the location is MUCH closer.

This place is very old, rundown and the rooms need a lot of work. Lifts are very slow. Stove doesn't work. Bathroom/toilet is like a caravan / motorhome.

Best thing about this place is the view. Not worth upwards of $275 - $300 a night.

The views from our corner room were the best world class, we even saw a couple whale passing from our balcony. in a great spot just walking distance from main street surfers paradise. Staff were easy going helpful when needed. The room facilities (bathroom and kitchen) some thing didn't work well.
I have stayed there 3 time over 30 years and would definitively go back its great value for money.

Great location, very clean premise with kind and helpful staff. Only single minor complaint I had was waiting until day 6 of 10 to get clean linen and did not have 1st roll of toilet paper replaced and had to go and buy our own. Happy to wait a week for sheets but one towel and one face cloth was not enough. Asked on day 4 for new ones but had to wait for cleaning staff. Would still stay here again.

We’ve stayed here several times. Some of the rooms are basic, but adequate,others beautiful. Most have terrific views of ocean or canal. It has excellent positioning for the light rail and restaurant. The staff are fantastic. Location, convenience & value are the key words here. Also this is a terrific place for watching the GC500 race from your balcony. Also free on-site parking including high vehicles

We stayed for a week & couldn't be happier. We will definitely stay again.
Michaela was fantastic & so was Ray. The service that they provided was fantastic & they are so lovely & helpful.
The rooms are fairly spacious & the rooms we had with our friends were different. Any issues with the room that we had (like the bathroom door not sliding properly) they made sure were fixed as quickly as they could. The pool & spa are great & the kids loved it. The beach was right across the road too. It's nice & central in Surfers & it's easy to get public transport to the theme parks from there, as well as it's right in the heart of the main street. The view from our room was really great too. We would highly recommend this place especially if you're on a budget but are keen to stay in Surfers

When we arrived the stove and oven were broken and we had to wait until the following day for the manger to get someone to fix it. The kitchen light during our stay was broken and not fixed at all. Due to the location it was very noisy because of traffic and loud workman at 6am every morning. One of the blankets had stains on them and the others were not clean and had holes. Picture frames on the wall had spray stains on them as well. During our stay the spa only worked twice, the sauna was broken for over 15 days. The tennis courts were not useable and not maintained. All the gym equipment was non functional. There were no air conditioner in reception area or elevator besides when reception was open which made it extremely hot and stuffy on hot days or tho the views were amazing air conditioning in our room worked so good but other’s complained they didn’t even have a aircon. The people staying there were very nice and friendly as well as staff. It’s nice and close to trams and buses. Beach is just across the road as well.
