It was very busy when we arrived for brunch but we managed to get a table inside eventually (book ahead if you want one guaranteed). The staff were very good and the food came surprisingly fast for how many people were there. I had the jalapeno corn fritters which were okay, they were a bit small and needed more jalapeno IMO. We also had the avo smash which was more like a salad on top of toast with avo (see pic 2). That was a bit disappointing. The venue is beautifully located and well maintained but like a lot of places at the moment the portion to payment ratio isn't great.

It only needs a few minutes for the staff to properly clean the teapot using baking soda, hot water, and a scrub brush. Staff should do this at least once a week, so customers can enjoy their tea from a clean teapot.

Good cafe on the waterfront. The views are great and they open from 7am which serves the swimmers and cyclists well. The food is good and the coffee ok. Did have to get an extra shot in the iced latte as it was so weak. The porridge was delicious and not sweet as is the problem with other places and the smashed avocado very generous and the addition of a beetroot spread made it better.

So nice to stumble apon this Cafe while checking out Emu Point for the first time! Enjoyed the ice cream offerings and the raspberry white chocolate muffin, freshly baked! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming as were the staff. The view and sandy beach you have access to from this locale is pretty perfect! Even on a windy day such as today, the experience was excellent! Enjoy it for yourself!

Great location, easy going service, and descent coffee. The stand out though was the meal. Quite possibly the best eggs I’ve ever eaten, I ordered the Cilbir Eggs and I think I have a new obsession. Delicious. Highly recommend breakfast here.

I quite enjoyed the brunch here. We had a big breakfast and a banana blueberry muffin to share. The food quantity is sufficient for 2 person! worth the price! Coffee was great and the view from the cafe is nice and tranquil too. I'd give 5 stars for atmosphere but due to the fact we were seated at the walkway, people kept knocking into our table or having their coats in our faces. Otherwise it is great 🙂 people in the restaurant are nice too!

Three of us visited for breakfast last week, arriving just before 11am, aware that breakfast ended at that time. We tried ordering via the table scanner, but the app stopped accepting orders at 11am, so we approached the counter. After waiting nearly two minutes to be acknowledged, we were told the kitchen was closed from 11 - 11:30am and they wouldn’t take our order - despite it being only 11:05am. We settled for coffees, which took 30 minutes to arrive, and left without eating.

Still keen to try the breakfast, we returned another day at 9:30am and ordered promptly. Unfortunately, the food took nearly an hour to arrive with no explanation. All three meals were disappointing: the cilbur eggs were tiny with a small dollop of labneh, the fritters looked burnt and sat on a mound of undressed salad, and the ham hock Benedict was overly salty with too many potatoes and little flavour.

In short, it’s a beautiful venue with decent coffee (if you don’t mind the wait), but the food isn’t worth it.
