We've stayed at Emu Beach chalets at least twice a year for 20 years and love it! They're quiet small, tidy chalets with everything you need. A 3 minute walk along a bush path (or down the road if you want) to the most beautiful beach. Super dog friendly. Lovely staff, can't recommend it highly enough.

I have just spent 2 weeks here, and had a fabulous time. The accommodation was good, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. The shower room set up was interesting, good large shower with plenty of hot water. I would have liked to see security screens on the windows and also a security screen on the back door, I love lots of fresh air, especially at night whilst sleeping. Loved the views from the back and the sound of the sea. Would love to come back next year. Janice Hall.

This place is the absolute best. From check in to leaving. Everyone is friendly and helpful. When I had my furbaby she was welcomed with open arms. My little unit has everything I need. The unit is neat and clean. And I love that you open the window and door and you can hear the ocean. It's also very close to the beach. Highly rate emu beach chalets

Located in a beautiful quiet spot. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My only major issue was the back of the unit only had a partition wall with the neighboring unit. The neighbors had a large dog on leash outside , but it was long enough that the dog was able to reach our side. I had two small dogs with me that were afraid to go outside due to this dog and others that were off leash running around freely. I ended up taking my dogs to my brother's house within 30 minutes of arrival. I told this to staff, who were nice enough to apologize, but not offer a refund for the extra I paid to have dogs that couldn't even stay.

Emu Beach Chalets (EBC) is our go to location in Albany. My wife and our two grandsons have stayed at EBC three times now, so I guess that says it all.|The location is great, the kids can wander around the lawns and its a simple walk to the beach. Bullet point summary:|Great location|Friendly staff|Best and easiest check in process I have experienced|Clean, clean clean|Pretty much everything you want in the chalet from bedding to kitchen items|Carport|BBQ area|Quiet|Big Carton of Milk in the fridge upon arrival, not the toy size pods|Washing machine and dryer on site||I have no hesitation in recommending EBC for your Albany get away. Go for it.

NOT by the beach. was a horrible walk to the beach. no beach view, the view was a couple of trees. although beach is nice and quiet just everywhere. lights not working and they only compensated with one small lamp. kitchen is unappealing and water was either scalding hot or way too cold. floors was dirty and whole place was dusty. When any other taps are turned on, the water changes in the shower. Can hear the neighbours easily.

Chalet is lovely. But bathroom is not disability friendly and fridge is loud. Other than that it's amazing

Great location and dog friendly!
Sadly, not much else to recommend it.
When we first arrived I took off my shoes, by the time Iโ€™d walked through the unit my feet were filthy.
The cupboards smell of mice.
Terrible noise when you turn on the taps.
The toilet smelt like a public menโ€™s toilet.
The bunk beds were so squeaky, it woke me up every time my companion turned over. And I was in the other room.
No flyscreen on the main bedroom window so couldnโ€™t leave it open at all.
Such a shame as it is a great spot and the staff were lovely. Needs some serious upgrades and a good deep clean.
