I couldn’t be more thankful to have chosen EM as my wedding photographer. Having Eric from EM was truly a stroke of luck—I couldn’t be happier with the results. Eric flew in straight from an overseas shoot to Bali just for our wedding, and despite the exhaustion and not feeling his best, he gave it his all and captured every precious moment perfectly.

Isla is a dream to work with! Choosing Emotions and Math to be our photographer was an easy choice! The preparation leading up to the wedding was straightforward and Isla was so helpful in recommending vendors and locations to ensure our photos were beautiful.

She arrived early for our wedding day and got to work straight away! She captured the whole day from getting ready to having our reception, and having received the photos already (they arrived in a week!), we have loved being able to relive the day as well as getting a glimpse of the precious moments we missed seeing on the day.

Isla was wonderful!

I have to admit, I was nervous. First of all, photography was one of the most expensive things for the wedding. It's also the thing people will look back on most. With all of the photography styles out there, I was also constantly second-guessing myself on what style I wanted. Throw in the fact that I am very much a planner and with us being halfway across the world (in NY), well... I'm obviously a type A person.

But it was great! My partner is NOT a picture person and Isla was able to provide a perfect balance of candid versus posed. The pictures are beautiful - Isla has an amazing eye for color, light, and composition and she was able to come in and just run with it on both days (we had two events) with no direction needed. She was able to blend into the events and let me enjoy them instead of just focusing on taking pictures. She made my days easy.
