I'll be honest, when my fiancee came to me and said she wanted to hire an event planner for our wedding, I wasn't a fan. I thought we could do it on our own, especially since we were planning on hosting in our newly redone backyard. I am SO very happy that I married a woman that is smarter than me.

Jenna was amazingly patient and encouraging in every aspect of our wedding planning and execution. Her reasonable pricing matched what we needed and was well worth it. We had a lot of curveballs thrown our way within 48 hours of the event, but Jenna's masterful planning for months prior ensured that our wedding would execute flawlessly.

The compliments still haven't ceased from our friends and family, and my wife and I are still astounded by what a fun, stress-free, and memorable evening we had together.

So, if you're second guessing getting an event planner for that special event, DON'T. Stop second guessing and give Jenna a shout.

We had the BEST experience working with Jenna as we planned our wedding. I still can't believe how far above and beyond she went to make our day seamless and so so special. My now husband and I are both very far from savvy when it comes to planning events so we really gave her a blank slate and she made magic happen. I will always recommend her for any event planning. We had a party in our backyard with a caterer, DJ, bar, outdoor furniture and about 160 of our favorite people. Jenna gracefully dealt with unexpected rain, mud for days, and a wet cement driveway blocking the entrance to the backyard (a whole other story) as the furniture, tent, bar, etc.was being loaded into the back yard. Months later, we're still getting unsolicited compliments from attendees. She helped us coordinate the food, the DJ, the flowers, the drinks, the tent, the gifts, the ceremony, the furniture, AND the afterparty! She can do it all while being sweet, supportive, and efficient. She clearly has so much experience in the industry. I know it was a lot of hard work, but she made everything calm and easy for us. Thank you, Jenna!

Elegant Events and Maureen were wonderful in assisting me in planning and executing a special birthday party for my wife. Maureen was always very responsive to my requests. After working with Maureen for over a year on our wedding it came out more beautiful and elegant than we could have ever dreamed possible. None of this could have been achieved without the assistance of Elegant Events. My husband and I got to see Maureen in action first hand from one of our close friends who got married in 2013 and we knew right away we needed this woman to help plan our day! Two months after our friends wedding we were engaged and two months after that we hired Elegant Events as our wedding planner. Saying we were quite pleased with the result is an understatement! Not only did Maureen provide insight to remarkable vendors, but she really puts her all into making your dream wedding come to life. In addition to being very organized, creative and professional, Maureen is also a true joy to have worked with. I would throw ideas out of how I would like certain details of my dream day to be and Maureen would really run with it and provide so much more insight and creativity then I could have ever though possible. I thought I was organized, but Maureen really put me to the test! Elegant Events will have organized timelines for both your ceremony and reception and ensure your vendors are clear as to what is happening at what time and Maureen is there to make sure everything is executed not only properly, but beautifully. All the vendors we went with spoke very highly of her and she definitely went above and beyond our expectations of a wedding planner. My husband and myself would definitely recommend Elegant Events to any couple planning their dream day or anyone in search of a perfect party or event!

My husband and I had to plan a wedding from overseas since we were in Malaysia, getting married in Texas given only 1 month to plan. We were introduced to our wedding planner, Maureen, to help us coordinate the wedding. Immediately when we first talked, she understood what I envision the wedding to look like and worked hard to coordinate with local vendors for the wedding. Even though I was not there in person, she kept me updated and gave me new ideas. Maureen had all details ironed and sorted out step by step before the wedding day so that on the day of the wedding, we could focus on the moment instead of having a chaotic, stressful wedding. With even personalized jewelry by local vendors and a most beautiful ceremony at a ranch in San Antonio, all photography and catering services were coordinated. With excellent food, beautiful pictures and hair & makeup, Maureen had each detail of our wedding planned already. Our wedding was a most personalized experience with a beautiful calm joy emmanating all throughout the night. I highly recommend Elegant events by Maureen to any bride who truly wishes to enjoy the most beautiful and meaningful day of their special day.

Elegant Events by Maureen is worth their weight in gold! I cannot imagine any part of my wedding without them! Wedding planning is an overwhelming process. I wasn’t sure where to even start. Maureen knew exactly what to do to put my nerves at ease. Her expertise and experience were a breath of fresh air. She met with my mom and me initially. I have never felt so valued as I did the day of my consultation as well as through the planning in its entirety. She took in every detail, every idea I had, to help me develop my wedding vision. This is something that proved to be tricky for me. She knew which questions to ask to help me pin point the things most important to me and my soon to be husband. My husband is from Louisiana and I am from Texas. We wanted to incorporate things from both of our home states. She had the idea for us to choose some Cajun entrees to quench the Cajun craving and a paleta cart to showcase my San Antonio roots. These were both a hit! I didn’t realize it until after the wedding but, she anticipated mine and my husband’s needs before we even knew we had them. Maureen is detail oriented. She, as well as her team assume the title of advocate, planner, go getter, and ultimately, friend. My wedding was perfect because of Elegant Events by Maureen! Their work took mine and my husband’s breath away. The reception was so much more than I ever dreamt it could be. Maureen’s close work with all of our vendors paid off in the best way. The look, feel, and mood were a perfect translation of every detail I had given over the months of planning. I sit here, a little over two months after the wedding with the biggest smile on my face. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe my sentiment towards the time and dedication given to me as well as my wedding by Elegant Events by Maureen.
