This place is a beautifully restored 100 year old convent. The rooms are spacious with everything you need. The bed is so very comfortable, excellent amenities with loads of piping hot water. We chose ensuite rooms but there are other options as well. Lovely grounds right next door to St Edward’s church. So close to eateries - all within walking distance, or get your own supplies and cook in the communal|Kitchen or bbq. It was a very enjoyable stay and would recommend.

Eddy’s was a great surprise . Something delicious about staying in an old nunnery.the facilities were great, the location fantastic , and Cathy was really helpful. The place is as quaint as Canowindra itself . The beds were very comfortable and the linen and towels were also good quality. I would happily stay there again .

Organised a group to stay at Eddy's for a long weekend of cycling. Cathy was so friendly and helpful, and the facilities were perfect. We organised the local CWA to cater for us and they did a superb job.
I'd recommend the area for a weekend of cycling, and Eddy's is the perfect place to stay.

Really enjoyed our two night stay at Eddy's. Comfortable beds and good clean facilities in a lovely historic building. The shared bathrooms are clean and modern. Ideal for hosting a large group function. Cathy was friendly and helpful. Canowndra is an interesting town with good museums.

What a hidden gem!! this place is amazing. The accommodation is very practical and well priced. Cathy is very welcoming and friendly. We attended a Peter Larsen Water Colour workshop. It was so worth it. Peter is very knowledgeable, inspiring and helpful. His wife, Coral, catered and the food was impeccable. The only thing I can fault is why I didn't know about this place before! thank you guys for a wonderful weekend of fun.

When you visit a beautiful Australian country town like Canowindra, this is just the sort of unique accommodation that makes it extra special. We arrived in the dark, tired after a 5 hour trip on the first Friday night of the school holidays. Lovely host Catherine had been in touch and set the room A/C to toasty- much appreciated. We slept like logs and few things are nicer than waking on a glorious spring morning in a historic, superbly renovated convent and exploring your surroundings. Our room opened onto the front of the upstairs wrap around verandah and it was bliss to sit in the sun and read- wonderful second-hand bookshop nearby. It had an old fireplace, double bunks for the kids and was v spacious for the 4 of us. We were the only guests using the immaculate shared bathroom and the commercial kitchen downstairs had everything even a large group could ever need with a huge, covered deck. The TV room above it was good for lounging and meeting other guests. We could walk to Taste and Trading Post for delicious meals, coffees, tempting gifts and local crafts. The main street of the old town has other gems to find and the Age of Fishes museum was fascinating. We'll be back!

This establishment is a faithfully restored convent and is ideal for groups. It is not a B and B but has a large communal kitchen where you can make tea or cook as needed. The large deck off the kitchen has BBQ facilities and is a great gathering place.||All beds are single but comfortable, and only four of the rooms have ensuites. We were surprised that the small touches that one has come to expect, like tissues and shampoo were not in the rooms. Such additions would be welcomed by most travellers.||There is no wifi either.
