An interesting chasm or really just a long cleft/ fault between rocky walls. Short walk up from the vehicle parking area. The first section of the chasm is reasonably easy to access. Further in the chasm gets very narrow with tight rock scrambles up to the recent rock fall. Access from here is restricted. Vehicle parking area has toilets, shade shelter with table and bench seats, plus an interpretive Welcome to Echindna panel.

The best walk in the park for sure! The best time for the beautiful lit up rock photos is 11am onwards, at the round boulder as you walk in. Even when it lights up keep waiting.. it just gets better and better.
The walk in is around 30-40 mins, lots to look at as you walk in, very easy walk.
Then as you enter the chasm it’s just stunning, walk all the way till it opens out, looks awesome there and then keep going around the corner till the end, and there’s boulders above your head that are stick in between the rocks! Looks like something out of the movie 127 Hours! I went as far as I could. But you do have to scramble a little. You can’t keep on going unfortunately there’s a sign saying you can’t go past.

A short walk from the car park. The walk is pretty easy and like all the walks here takes less time than the map indicated. The chasm is amazingly narrow and tall. At the moment you can't get to the very end due to continuous small rock fall. Don't go past! This chasm is one of the best walks in the bungle bungles and shouldn't be missed. Expect tour busses! The road to the car park like all in the park are terrible. Some of the money collected should be spent on a grader and driver.....

Gorgeous!! We listened to the woman at the visitor centre when she said to go at 11-11:30 (August 28) to see the walls light up and wow it was amazing!!! Not too challenging of a walk and it didn’t take very long maybe 1 hour return depending how far down the crevice you go. A lot of the walk is in the shade too which is great 😅

Awesome place. The Bungles are spectacular and worth the effort getting there. You have to walk into the Chasm to truly appreciate how magnificent it is. I first flew over it 30 years ago and now walking through it, was a dream come true. Make sure you go to the lookout before the entrance. Its a short 10 minute walk. The views of the Northern part of the Range are awesome. Close to sunset is the best, so after the walk, head to the sunset viewing area, 20 minutes towards the main entrance of the park.

Amazing place. Easy walk with stunning views and colors. Try to go when sun is high noon as it reflects of the Chasm walls. The drive in is challenging.

This is such an excellent chasm and the best we have seen. We went around 12.30pm with the sun still shining in, this place would be beautiful all the time with the stunning colours it brings out. Just keep walking until the signs tell you to stop, it’s like a fun narrow one way maze sometimes! There are only a few sections where you may need to hop of some rocks but overall, it’s a easy to moderate rocky path. It is amazing!
