Main meal I had Garlic Prawns in mushroom sauce. It was very nice & yummy
Dessert I had Tiramisu. 👎Extremely disappointed, To me it looks and tastes like it was store bought from (I’ve had prev from) Aldi or Coles 👎 @ $18.50 a slice. Definitely not worth it. I know when its a good quality Tiramisu
Service was good, by the one man there, he was waiter, cook, and cleaner. It was quiet midweek. The view is spectacular.

This place is actually a gem, I wasn’t sure what to expect because the reviews were not the best but the steak is amazing and the view! And the person serving us was so nice!! There’s not a lot of staff because it is a small restaurant in a small town but definitely worth the wait for the amazing steak and views.

Great steaks, kids had a freshly prepared schnitzel. The side salad was prepped fresh as well. . Best dinner we had in Batemans by a long way.

Beautiful location but a shame that service wasn’t up to par. We walked in and only 2 tables were taken but were told “no you can’t sit just anywhere” . We got ushered to a table in the corner. Later a waiter came to take our order and stood at least 2 metres away to take our order. We ended up leaving without ordering as the whole initial experience left a bitter taste in our mouths. AWKWARD. As per previous reviews this place is best avoided.

The breakfast was not very appealing (very oily) and the customer service was definitely poor - I walked into the restaurant (while the door was open and the signage was displayed outside) at 06:59 AM, and I was confronted with an abrupt tone of “yes sir” instead of a warm welcome or a simple greeting by the chef. Subsequently I was not even offered to have a seat. On the contrary, I was told that “we are not quite open yet”.

The restaurant was meant to open at 07:00 AM for business. If the chef was not ready for business, what was the point to open the door and have the displayed signage outside? Also it would be more reasonable to offer me a seat since I was only “ONE minute” earlier than his “grant opening”!!

Restaurant with wonderful view of Marina at Bateman’s bay. Family run business and to be candid, service is slow paced. But, food were awesome. Ordered Smoked Salmon and Carbonara pasta which were generously served.

Shocking service very slow considering there were only 4 tables The kilpatrick oysters came out raw with raw bacon aswell the fillet minion steak was as tough as a boot don’t come here ever shocking

We were the only 2 people in the restaurant, a very unfriendly man took our order. Unsatisfactory starter so we left.
